By Marty’s definition almost anything qualifies as a religion. Reading his post I had that “huh??, wtf!!” moment. $cio is a scam and doesn’t even qualify as a religious sect IMO. Heavens gate, Peoples Temple, Branch Davidians etc had some background rooted in real religions. $cio has NOT, unless one considers the Astounding Science Fiction magazine as sacred religious writings. Sigh… Xemu, I pray to you!
