Woody supporters like to paint Mia as a crazy woman intent on red hot revenge. It is there only way of excusing the foul stench that surrounds Woody.

What has that got to do with Woody Allen abusing his daughter?

How would you like it if your long term partner was shagging your young daughter and had taken pornographic pictures of her and left them around for you to find? People cling to the “but she was 20” argument but how long was it going on? Who would trust his word if he said that she was legal from the start… not me!
The way I see it, karma is a bitch. I don’t know who Ronan’s father is, but how wonderful to hit Woody where it hurts, his pocket and his pride – because it is painfully clear that he is an emotionless cretin when it comes to affairs of the heart. What harm to have him think that he paid for Frank Sinatra’s kid all these years. The Farrow family got some revenge and I have no problem with that.

Uh, there is no way you will ever convince a level headed person that Mia should be seen in the same light as WOODY ALLEN!!!! My God, he screwed her (questionably) barely legal DAUGHTER who he had helped to raise and was certainly around a lot as a kid. Throw in the abuse to Dylan (why did Allen lie about having been in the attic – he changed his story once his DNA was found in there). Even if you put aide the Dylan thing, he committed so many moral transgressions with SoonYi, beyond our everyday adultery, that I just cannot abide people trying to place Mia on the same level as him. He is scum.

I think there is so much truth to what you have written. And it’s a truth that remains unspoken or simply unrecognized yet by Marty himself or by any one on either side of the Marty “issue” and the Independents.

It would be interesting to do an informal study to find out what level within the organization each former member had reached before leaving and find out if there’s any correlation between the post each person held, including the power and authority that was perceived to be attached to that post, and do a long term study to see if they eventually were able to completely reject their scientology believes and if not, where they ended up on a scale ranging from disbelief to being an Independent. It would also be interesting to also know if each member who joined the Independent movement achieved a “status” within that community that was similar or equivalent to the one held they held in corporate scientology.

I know, I know… It is not within the realm of possibilities but your post brought up a lot of valid and very interesting speculations – as usual.
