Yeah Miss Tia I tried 4 times and gave up. If they are requesting donations and I “truly want” to contribute financially, then they have to make it more user friendly. I don’t have time to read the forums as I spend up to 4 hours per day flagging, sometimes more. It’s a way to dissipate my anger at these Blatant Criminals and do something useful towards taking them down.

I meant that chronic problems with help were why I got in. Also a factor in why it was hard to leave, though, and that does seem to be far easier now than it was when I left. You’re totally right about many kids having poor ideas of what normal is. I really feel for kids being raised in.

Good luck with the book, which sounds useful on many levels. Right now we’re certainly seeing the results of more help being available: Jillian, the recent escapee in Karen de la C’s videos, obviously has benefitted from the help of Karen and others who know the ropes. The more people who find help easily available, the better.

Re battered children, an effect that I think is probable is that many children probably don’t know they NEED help. If you have lived with a situation since you were born, it seems like normal life…and it’s very hard to imagine that it could be otherwise. I’m sure you know quite a lot about this. Battered children are the original sufferers of Stockholm Syndrome…

In Ireland, that’d be considered cheery.
