I agree with this. I’m trying to struggle through Dianetics and I just don’t *get* the whole ‘enthralling, captivating’ thing… I am obviously missing something.

Hi Betsy, thank you so much for wanting to do some flagging. I’m not very computer savy and used to do them the long way. Mr Pierrot taught me this simple way. Don’t
be afraid it becomes quite fast when you get the whole list into little boxes
across the top of the screen and then just pick them off one by one. Maybe print out steps 1-7 and keep it next to you.
We need all the HELP we can get. First go to this link below:

1). Top left hand corner login: by joining the Why We Protest site. (WWP) I used the same login as Mr Tony’s site this way they know we are Not Co$ trolls.

2). Scroll down the page and have a quick read.

3). Pick a town name or suburb, Left click to open the
original list in that town/suburb.

4). Right click one by one on the list & click the first option which is to open in a new Link. This will cause the ads to appear temporarily across the top bar of the computer page in little boxes. Don’t worry there is room for up to 30 ads to appear in a row across the top of the screen in the form of little boxes.

5). Left click one by one on the ads and Click ‘Prohibited’,
wait until a RED X appears. Continue opening each ad and Flagging Prohibited.
When all the top screen ads have been flagged….

6). Go back to the first little ad box on the left hand side and click
on it again to delete it. Then click on the next one and the next one. They will each disappear quickly the remaining little boxes already flagged will continue to slide left one by one as you click on them until all have disappeared.

7). Begin the next list in that town or suburb
and repeat the process.

After you’ve done a whole list or two you’ll see it’s quite easy. Be careful because
occasionally you’ll see Anti- Co$ ‘Warnings’ to the innocent people about Co$. I’ve accidentally clicked on ‘our’ ads and there is no way to take off the RED X.
But if you see one of ‘OUR’ (& by “our” I mean the RED X brigade) scroll to the bottom right hand corner and click on the Little red Heart.

I was initially quite overwhelmed by Mr Pierrot’s instructions and continued to do them one by one which took me hours. I don’t have much confidence with computers
and was a bit confused.
But now…. YAY X 1,000….. I can do it and now spend up to four hours a day.

*Co$ are absolutely DESPERATE for fresh Victims and post
a lot of ads daily*. This is my contribution in bringing Co$ down, they are a truly Evil, Criminal organisation. Be prepared to feel enraged at the FALSE rubbish written in those ads. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Please try the steps I’ve written above, it really is the quickest way, for me that is. If anyone else can HELP Betsy with a quicker way please feel Free to chip in.

I happen to believe that it is a resource that is free, and a possibility for utilization. The problem is that, because of the very nature of AA, groups vary, even at the same location. It depends on the people who are in it. It’s kind of like the Bunker. One or two people can ruin the group dynamic or sent it off in an unproductive way.

I believe that a good sponsor can make a huge difference, but again, that varies. I wouldn’t generally recommend AA alone for someone.

I think this is the right perspective, and how it should be utilized, if at all.
With your stated experience, you’re probably aware that with even the best treatment the success rate isn’t that good.
And you have also related some personal experiences that give it a rather “unnerving” (can’t find the right word) quality.
