Aroha Pasifika joining staff is a truly bizarre flier. It looks like some sort of work/event function, welcoming or leaving party, some people are holding iris flowers. We are all in admiration of Co$ Photoshop skills and this gem is no exception; very rough clear cutting and several of the people are wearing high visibility vests for BJ’s Traffic Control, 36 Greenway Pde, Revesby, NSW 2212.

Indeed they are staging a Māori Haka, this is usually performed as welcome dance, or in the case of the All Blacks, before a rugby match in order to intimidate the opposition.

It’s unclear exactly who Aroha Pasifika is in these photos? Aroha (love) is common first name given to Māori or pacific island females in this region, but ‘Pasifika’ as a last name certainly is not. This is a word used to describe the general pacific island region or culture. Call me skeptical but I highly doubt this ‘Aroha Pasifika’ person actually exists and is joining staff anytime soon. There is however a dance/performance group called Aroha Pasifika. Perhaps someone at Co$ was enturbulated during a hasty Photoshop session? Or maybe they simply made it up from photos (lifted from somewhere) of BJ’s Traffic Control staff?
