Sadly, I agree with you, richelieu, these spots *are* well done. I agree that they seem aimed at those already-in, to make them feel cutting-edge spiritual, but I think they are also targeting the young, rebellious age 14+ with the technology/spiritual angle. I think they are going to get some curious dunces to look into this – provided that those people don’t delve deeply into the internet before giving Co$ ‘tech’ a shot.

I found this in answer to your question, although with the shrinkage of the church, the defection (or internment in The Hole) of most of it’s senior management, as well as the passage of time, I simply do not know how accurate this is any longer.

I post it probably as more of a historical document rather than an accurate description of what is in operation today. Hope it is of some use.

When David was a young teen, he was removed from auditing.

His father, Ron Sr. came home in 1972 and decided the family should all try scientology. Supposedly, it helped David with his bad asthma. After deciding that scientology was wonderful, the whole family packed up and moved to East Grimsted and started taking classes and auditing at Saint Hill.

David was hailed as the youngest ever auditor, a wunderkind. Something happened. David hit or slapped the woman he was auditing. THAT IS A HUGE NO NO. Karen de la Carrierre, of the videos that we often watch, was training at Saint Hill and has verified this.

David and the family moved back to Philadelphia. Ron Jr joined the Sea Org. David was stuck in HS. At !6, David was able to join the Sea Org and the rest is history.

It has been said that David has taken all the administrative classes that scientology offers. I do not know if you can proceed up the bridge if you can not audit. A good deal of the early stuff of going up the bridge requires you to be audited, but you also audit another. This people are usually twinned for a specific course. David can’t do that stuff.
