Hugging you guys back. That Turd Fergeson’s posts have angered me for 3 weeks running. I’ve had it. Been copying all the nastiness & saving it for today – fuuuuuuck him. And since Radar doesn’t give a rip about his vulgar comments, then so what, why not just sling it all right back in it’s face?! And, god’s truth, I told my boss about him & she said, go get your computer & lemme see. Ha!!! I am not lying when I say, we, me & the crew & some customers even, laughed our asses off at the exchange.

What happens when a q_bird gets pissed off.

This is only the second running of The Gitchigami Express, it’s a new race. It is a staged race, in other words, there are 3 legs to it, run 3 days in a row. Each night, everyone rests well. Very easy race, called a sprint… nothing like the Iditarod which is like the most extreme dog sled race I know of. Iditarod is an endurance race holy moly – over a 1000 miles! There were several teams that ran in this race and will also be running in the Iditarod. These races are used as training mostly (and for cash prizes). Buddy Streeper won… you may recognize this family name as they are heavy into world class dog sledding. In 3 more weeks the John Beargrease sled dog race will be run. Now this one has been going on for ’bout 30 years – it is 411 miles long (From Duluth up the north shore & then back again 3 to 4 days it takes of continuous mushing with only a few mandatory breaks) and many many Iditarod mushers & dogs run in this race because it is quite arduous. If you & your dogs can’t finish the Beargrease, you have no business whatsoever competing in the Iditarod. So, the sled dog races are not linked so to speak, but the world of sled dog racing is very small & teams run in every race they can afford to… it is quite the expensive sport.
