Damn straight, dairy!

If I have the time, I keep pounding on Co$ with a troll. The thing that they don’t like, particularly in a forum like Radar Online is that non-anti-$cions might read the entheta. They don’t challenge it directly, and eventually, they give up. The more negative stuff that I publish in a blog, the more they hate it.

Their purpose is to make us look unreasonable. They go back and change posts so that someone reading what we’ve written, who has come on the link later will think we’re the nuts.

Negative stuff written about $cientology is Kryptonite to them. They can’t acknowledge it or, in any way legitimize it.

Don’t worry about cluttering up the comments. You did an excellent job, and you came out of it smarter and wiser. You just happened to be the next shift, who came along. The troll had stopped responding to me or anyone else, and you came along later. When they got notification that you’d responded, they launched again.

I was tired and had to do some other things, or I would have joined you. Your posts are excellent, well thought out, and I look forward to them. Give ’em hell.

You are right.

I just found the mindset fascinating. They go to extraordinary lengths to avoid answering a straight question, and seem to think that provoking people, then criticizing their response in kind, is somehow a clever and powerful tactic.

It achieves nothing for anyone except ‘stats’ for them in their closed-off world.

You would think that believers would take an opportunity to try to convert you,,, but they won’t even engage with you. This avoidance seems built into the doctrine and policy, because the CofS have learned that when members engage with people outside the bubble, it rarely works to the advantage of the {church}.

The power of the CofS seem to crucially depend on persuading and forcing members to deny the outside world.

As for me – I have learned my lesson, and promise not to clutter up the comments in future. Sadly, it really does not seem to be worth the effort.

I cannot bring myself to watch that Miscavige video, he is such a repulsive character, it feels like I will be infecting my brain cells. I just take everyone else’s word, that he came across very, very badly.

As I understand, Davie has not even a high school education. His lack of basic education, coupled with his hermitage in Hemet, prevents him from guiding these bizarre adverts into something other than the style of the old Soviet propaganda publications.
