the church is really looking very dishonest with all this DELAYS, and I hope the judges see thru that……, they have to,…. I know nothing about law and can see thru that , but then again I know how dirty the church can play and the judges might not know that.

plus tourism has withdrawn from that area due to scientology presence everywhere, therefore small businesses and shops are broke and away too, since they have no costumers. the cult sure is doing a lot for the economy in that area. NOT.

I was at celebrity center, they did have real chefs there. they looked so miserable unhappy waiting for orders since there were no people coming in to order expensive meals.

What about the Celebrity Center? They boast 4 stars. Is that SO too?

When I was there.. all kitchen staff were SO . There were no “chef’s” from outside.. nothing like that. They may have now.. they may have recruited some folks from the prof world to become SO and run the kitchens.. but I highly doubt it.

It just rocks reality — do you think the whales and celebs know that he has spent maybe $100 million in the past 5 years simply on *legal* ? Would they care? or would it just be part of the business of KSW, on the planet … It’s hard to really *get it* if one is Never-in.

It is indeed possible that Miscavige is paying $20 million per year in legal fees, settlements, and PI’s. I’d estimate PI’s as the smallest expense of those three categories however. That’s pretty appalling: to be spending perhaps 10% of sales, and 1/3 of your profits on legal-related matters, especially when you’re losing badly whenever you get dragged into court.

Sure, the cult spent a lot in litigation back before Miscavige took over. I just don’t think it was as much as Bill Franks was saying. He’s got an incentive to brag to members about the legal costs, because of their desire to have the image of doing whatever it took to ensure they could clear the planet. “We’re not a turn the other cheek kind of religion” as someone (Tommy Davis ???) said. But that was back in the day when the cult was expanding.

Suing people when you’re a) shrinking and b) not winning in court seems like a pretty dumb idea.
