Yes I do believe I understand the grrrr factor… I am hard pressed find humor in certain subjects myself. (All OT of course. Always off topic, that’s me.)
Believe you me, I wanna laugh though. I want need like to laugh. I find it balances out and even heals perhaps some sorrows and fears. Incendiary humor is dicey stuff however — it can be hit or miss.
I lurk, I listen too, with you Fringelurker. My aim is to understand & to not hurt.
I prefer to uplift rather than put down.
Your considerate voicing of concern was well placed & well timed.

Sorry it’s taken so long for me to get back to you. I just want to say thank you for your kind response. I’ve seen some of Jeff’s other work and enjoyed it, it’s just that puppet/stereotype that makes me grrr, if that makes sense. I’ll get back to lurking now, it’s what I’m most comfy with.

Definitely. I think she’s been quite careful in doling out the little nuggets along the way and, even for people that don’t know what she’s talking about, they may get curious and look it up. Let’s just hope their first stop is here. I’ve noticed Scientology is still paying to keep themselves visible. If I start to type “tony ortega” in my browser in chrome, their starred search result is above his. Creeps.
