Well, I do expect there will be sanctions against Co$ legal team over this. There is no way in hell Darth Midget’s crew doesn’t know what information Marty (and others) have put into the public domain.

Sometimes lawyers can be really dumb. It is very frustrating because if you (speaking generally and including myself), point out all the inconsistencies, admissions against interest and the like of the other side, you often run the risk of going off on a tangent that confuses the judge, and if it is too technical, you run the risk of confusing the jury.

Right–even if Marty said defamatory things on his blog, they cannot respond by stalking, defaming and abusing his wife. She’s an innocent party. I do believe Davey’s lawyers urged him to argue that they were “overzelous scientologists we have no control over,” because “he deserved it” is not an adequate defense and is only being done because Davey wants to “send a message” to any squirrels out their that their spouse is fair game. Makes Davey happy, but doesn’t help his legal position.
This is not unusual, btw, for litigants; I have seen one suing for breach of contract and then showing that the defendant was senile and incompetent because he wanted to embarass her; he did, but it hurts his argument that she knowingly entered into a contract. I saw another claim the defendant started a fight with him, and introduced evidence that he was weak and elderly; again, embarasing to the defendant, but made it unlikely he started the altercation.

Ooooh…we’ve touched some very sore spots! Actually, I learned long ago that both parties…and virtually all major politicians…cannot be trusted to bring in the paper in the morning. And if you’ve not figured out yet that scio will never accomplish much of anything in the real world, thus hardly worth being concerned about, then you’re giving them far too much credit.

Thus I’m neither a Republitard nor a Demotard, take your pick. And I saw back in the late 70s that scio was going nowhere and left.

The only good things I can think of about Chicago are that I have much loved relatives there and Old Town, at least in the 60s, was a happening place to visit. That you seem to cherish your bribe taking cops, whatever they may say, is your burden to bear. Enjoy!
