I guess Cristian got a nice settlement and went back home, signing some gag orders. The officials are similar to US, playing all sides as long as there are votes. The presidential office publish your critical letters online, but that doesn't stop the President from sending a congradulation message to Narconon Taiwan for their 12th anniversary last month. The department of foreign affairs is a strong supporter of Youth for Human Rights, knowing what they actually are. Scn, the cult of "human rights", is in bed with the cult of "democracy" in Taiwan, and the latter is much bigger in Taiwan. Fortunately, the approval rating of the President is some 18%. His endosement isn't always a good thing.

I really dislike Quinn Taufer.

His #1 scam he likes to personally use on folks, from the smallest level of just a few bucks all the way up to thousands....

He uses the illusion of power (that of a Sea Org Member speaking to a brainwashed staff or cult member) and the appearance of confidence to assure people that the money they're letting go of will be paid back to them in a timely matter.

But then once the money is acquired, he is never seen again, and absolves himself of ever becoming involved, despite repeated attempts at contact.

He's got the money, thus he's got the "stats" so his superiors don't yell at him that night, so he doesn't give a shit after that.

(I know from first hand experience dealing with the guy.)

Yeah, the church has been saying the new Ideal Morgue is opening for many years now. They continue to pay government fees for an empty building.

The only reason the Ideal Org was put in Kaohsiung is that real estate is cheaper there. And of course the Taiwanese public are so few here that the IAS had to fork out the funds to buy it ~lol

There are less than 500 active Scientologists in the whole of Taiwan. According to Cristian Landivar - the ex-seo org member in charge of the Flag world tour in Taiwan - there are only 300. He had the list! :)

It is such a joke, Taiwan is NOT the gateway to China at all. Last I heard they are still don't trust each other. In fact, if anyone tries to take Scn into China, they will probably be arrested... or worse. Even their treasured Way to Happiness Book will never be accepted in China. I remember the boss of the Sea Org in Taiwan - Mei Tsu Lee - telling me she is going to request taking out the paragraphs so the chinese govt would accept it ~lol She is now GONE! Soul searching in the RPF. Not that she has a soul ~hah!

Someone here in Taiwan needs to write a report to all govt officials here and tell them the truth. Send a copy to the media. When the truth gets out to the Taiwan public about disconnection and the real cost of services, their new org will just be another empty shell.

Cheers!

Phil - Raging SP Taiwan ~lol

Sadly, I have that book by Vikki Petersen on my bookshelf. My mother-in-law bought it for me. I'm severely gluten intolerant... I've actually been diagnosed by a real doctor who isn't a Sci-loon. I knew something was screwy with that book as I was reading it. I'm a soon-to-be PA (med) student and one of my loves is research, so I read a lot of medical journals. Some of the book was true, but other parts seemed to border on really grey areas that came off a bit new age-y. The way they constantly pimped out their 'clinic' in that book gave me all kinds of skeezy vibes. So I looked up the authors. Big Surprise! Sci-loons! I really need to burn that book. I won't donate it anywhere because I don't want anyone reading that muddle and getting sucked into believing they need to try that clinic to feel better.

HAHAHAHAHA. Oh dear. That made me laugh out loud. :) If only it were true. Then I could just quit and try to get unemployment money. :)

Being a working musician in Los Angeles is weird and unbalanced enough, you're right. Why add sperm? WHICH IS EXACTLY MY POINT.

Evil evil stuff. It'll get you every time.

O.K., I had you confused with someone else. Tumbleweeds are all over the U.S., mostly in the arid regions of the West, and the illustration given in Wikipedia was from the state of Washington, so for your stalker, if you have tumbleweeds, you could be anywhere in arid portions of the U.S.

Back then, there weren't the laws there are now in most states that cover stalking, so it must have been tough.

Um, within 500 miles?
I had a crazy stalker.
Ran my friends off the road, hit people I was with, peeped in the windows of my home, found my out of state university phone number, mailed stuff to my home after me being married for 20 freaking years.
Then last straw, when my only sib died 6 yrs ago, he showed up at the tiny private funeral and scared me again.
Stopped dating him at 15, I am 50+ now.
So I am invisible on net, no real last name, no full face,no Facebook.
Just too possibly dangerous.
But I hope we will meet one day. Many here have earned my trust so far as I know them.
Come to think of it, he's prob not smart enough for the Bunker ;).
Someday I will tell all!

Now returning to your regularly scheduled J & D.
He dated my sister for a while.
I moved to a new suburb, he joined the church of my cousins.
