Hello there Capt. I’m coming back here to say this so as not to deride today’s discussion. Regarding trolls: I believe I am one… why? Cuz I do not really have anything of value to contribute to this board of commentators; I am a fairly ignorant person, lived a very soft sheltered life actually. I am not articulate like so many of the folks here. And I post stupid shit. The only difference between me and the other trolls is that I do not lie about who or what I am. My purpose here is to support… it is not to deride although this is what I almost always do (kinda sucks). I feel like I know who to trust here and who not to trust. I agree with you, I believe there are posters who use different names to “get their points across” & feed off of each other & tangle up the threads. They are wanting to gain the trust of the regular posters… I went to that private thing in Disqus – not because I have anything to hide, but because I noticed “Collin” used something I said in his replies to direct questions. Collin etal = Peace Theta in my mind’s eye.

And also because you did. And you Captain Howdy I trust.
At any rate, I will try to STFU and not add to the bullshit.

I am fortunate to have a goodly number of friends who are splendid photographers.

One little gal I know, 1st a professional photographer and now then a professor of photography at the U of M ( @Duluth, MN) 2 years ago, she invested in a brand-spankin’ new camera – 5 grand it cost.

And worth every cent she says.
The camera quality is key. The wrench is every bit as important as the mechanic’s eye view.

He does have 3 kids with his ex wife, so what should he do? If he speaks out he will loose contact with them. Should his children loose their dad so he can speak out? Should he just abandon his kids to the cult? If he spoke out this is what he would be doing. These are the blackmail, no choice situations the cult creates. Remember Neil himself was a child victim of this cult, and considering they have his children as leverage against him, still seems to be, so have some sympathy. Speaking out is important but surely not at the cost of three more children loosing a parent. The cult thinks the end justifies the means regarding who gets hurt. This is not the attitude we should take when protesting them.
