Thanks so much AC! It’s really lovely to feel supported- and thank you for the words of encouragement. You’re right- there isn’t an app;) I wish there was….I’m sure after some time passes and I’m engaged with life again, it will get better. It’s just been a weird, hard year for me- and leaving was part of it.

Late posting, but just wanted to say that your post is an important one. There are many readers here at the Bunker, and when those “in” see a candid reflection of missed time, friendships and more, it may resonate.

Please feel better , Wendy. There is so much room for more good things ahead. I can share a story of today…just had a visit with someone who is 84 years old and with a tremendous joy for meeting a new friend, seeing a new area, taking a little (and big) trip, or just learning how to use an I pad for the first time, which was funny and fun and sometimes a little frustrating, but a win after all.

Wishing you warm wishes and hugs to chase away the sadness. There isn’t an app for rebuilding a life, but there are friends here and all around. Wish I knew if you were close by.
