They survived Scientology’s synonym for child abuse, The Cadet org, and then as pre-teen children suffered postings in the Sea Org. Adults come out traumatized from that experience.

I used to do all that I could to protect and care for the Sea Org Cadets while I was there. Tried to provide a glimpse of normality for these abandoned waifs – I would spirit little groups of them away to a riding stables each week and taught them how to care for and ride horses – seeing how they were treated, how they were indoctrinated, was often an emotionally eviscerating experience. I am yet to reconcile myself with what I witnessed.

That these girls made it through and built strong careers and are now standing up and calling the cult out on its abuses is, in light of all the depredation that sea Org children suffer, simply astounding.

I am moved, deeply moved.

I read the post and found it interesting. But 4.4 out of 10 is “chance”? That’s 44%. And surely so few people involved can hardly be called a “scientific” test. Stephen Barrett, of course, I’m sure roundly and loudly accepted the results fully. His livlihood depends on it. (So does Randi’s.)

I could easily go into a long post on this, but I don’t feel it’s really germane to the blog subject as my responses would be with other forms of “laying on of hands” which I not only learned but also watched many, many times. I agree about the Indies .. Not getting it. Nope Not getting it at all. One of the mysteries of this whole shit story.

This “Earth Opera” takes me back to the days of the PTL Club with Jim and Tammy Bakker in the early to mid 80’s. Used to love to love tuning in to watch the comical characters do their schtick, all the while thinking how could anyone not see through this. We got to see the empire build and then implode in real time. It was comedy with a touch of pathos, replete with plenty of alligator tears. They were small time bumbling crooks in comparison to the organized criminal conspiracy of Nonsensetology. Think Barney Fife compared to the Joker in Dark Knight.

Although the absurdity of NotSciencetology becomes apparent as one realizes the attention and back slapping one receives is correlated 100% to the checks one writes, it is a tragicomedy, because of all the real lives wasted by this morally corrupt criminal organization mistakenly given legitimacy by the IRS at the behest of Wm. Jefferson Clinton. One can’t help but think of Jefferson Hawkins and others who woke up and realized that 30 years of their short time on earth was utterly dumped down the toilet. Can’t imagine trying to deal with confronting that. God bless all of the folks who’ve escaped the insane asylum of Co$. The numbers they are able to mentally rape and pillage continue to decline. The end is within sight. I don’t see how they can last the decade in their present form. Ideal Morgues are a joke. The bridge has been torn down and rebuilt though DM’s “haha, we tricked you GAT-II”. Maybe in hindsight, Leah Rimini will be seen as the tipping point.

Stock up on butter and popcorn, it’s gonna be one helluva show.

The drive by’s and flyovers….don’t get me started. First they empowered Elron, DM, and Loonitology, now they’re empowering Warrior and his splinter group WeAreTheRealNonSciencetology. They still haven’t come to the cognition that the dollars spent, time invested, and effort put forth amounted to sand pounded down a rat hole. It is much too difficult a confront for them I guess. I can appreciate that and pray someday they confront reality and come away a better person.

Elron was a disgusting human being. How could anyone in their right mind willingly immerse themselves in his writings without doing a little due diligence to check out his history and still come away believing there was anything of merit or benefit he offered in the long run to humanity?
