I find all these stories about cos fascinating, sadly, like a train wreck.
When people get out and see how the rest of us see it, how do they feel ?
I would feel profoundly foolish, and probably bankrupt.

Yes, of course! That was the whole point.

Had there not already been the ‘wog’ term, the ‘golliwog’ variation, applying as it did to the only black doll in the set, would never have been perceived as any sort of an insult.

As it was, given the history, it was kind of hard to see it as an innocent coincidence.

In reply to richelieu jr. I'm afraid that the term Wog didn't originate with the stuffed toys. It was in use in India originally, and colloquially in Britain it was an insult and referred to anyone with non-white skin.

I purposely try to be aware of what actors and actress are part of this cult and avoid watching their movies so I’m not adding to the problem, increasing their wealth, and furthering this cult of delusion.
L.Ron Hubbard was a science fiction writer… period.
He was and is as much of a messiah as you or I. He was a writer. I am a writer. The Government should step in and close down this cult!

I think you need mental health help and counseling to have been taken by these people and you should not be permitted to own a gun!
I don’t have tolerance for a group of people that treat a science fiction writer as a Messiah!
He is a science fiction writer and to ascribe anything else to the man is delusional.
I think the government should close this “church” down and get the people the help they need to be able to de-program and work their way back from mental illness!
