Regarding Myles Binford, I remember him when he started scientology at Orange county org. Later he married Kim who was OC auditor, she is now a Mission holder/auditor in Lake Forest http://southcoastmission.org/. Here is their facebook: https://www.facebook.com/southcoastmission

In 2002/2003 Kim and Myles were hired by Tommy Davis and David Miscavige to take care of Bella and Connor and work for Tom Cruise. Apparently they did something "out-ethics" which as a result they were fired, singed confidential bond with Cruise and Miscavige to stay silent.

Eventually Myles and Kim got divorced. They both stayed loyal to David Miscavige, just out of fear.

Kim is running the South Coast mission in OC and Myles started his own business "Pur Detox" (a version of Narconon, still controlled by Miscavige).

Myles sends all his new students/ drug addict to Allen Sosin MD http://www.iprogressivemed.com/index.html for check up/approval so they can start their program at "Pur Detox".

It's a short, made in 1968, so I don't think it got wide distribution.

Shorts that are nominated for Oscars don't get much play of publicity.

Dammit, I got the name wrong. It's De Düva, the first film Madeline Kahn appeared in. It was shot in black and white, like Bergman's early films, with soft focus at times, and all sorts of symbolism.

The plot is summarized in IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062906/

You can see a very bad print of it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X2QmLWWxq4
It was nominated for an Oscar,

I guess because I'm Swedish, I appreciated it more than I should. I spent years trying to find it because I thought the title was The Dove. My son said he lost it with Madeline Kahn's comment when the end of a cigar is snipped off.

I don't know Du Dove... When did it come out?

Being There is often. Hal Ashby is greatly missed...

IMO, I think the technology has changed, but the storytelling is still the important thing.

Two of my favorite films: Being There and Du Dove.
I worked with someone who saw Du Dove and didn't catch on that the picture was really in English. He thought the audience was being disrespectful when they were laughing.
