I do not understand why some people are in total agreement with the fact that DM is an SP but are still in admiration with LRH. He did put all of this farce together, there is a lot of very disturbing truths about Ron Hubbard on the internet too. Lets not confront just half the scene… Also, if Ron was soooo intelligent and able to predict the future with his OT powers, why did he not see DM, what was going to happen with the Church and all the people being hurt. Why, like Tom Cruise, was he not able to marry the right woman or predict the suicide of his own son and prevent that?. I keep asking these questions and for some interesting reasons, I can’t seem to get intelligent answers. If our true intentions are to help people by making the truth, we have to be able to confront the truth ourselves as beings. LRH and DM are both the same type of beings. SPs. There is no need for any independent Scientology Organization. There is a need for organizationsssss spreading the truth and the truth HAS NO NAME and does not belong to any particular group. is there things in “scientology” that works – YES! it is not Scientology – it is simply the Truth – lets not put a name on something that can’t be owned by anyone and no organization as the fact is that it belongs to everyone. Trying to do so is already a ‘blasphemy”.

I really enjoyed this documentary and continue to be completely fascinated with this “religion”. I can’t read enough about it! What I don’t understand are the independents, as a group they seem opposite of all that is evil and wrong with the cult but how can you subscribe to this way of thinking without believing in L.R.H? Is it that they just believe that it works (something I have zero experience with) or do they truly believe in L.R.H’s teachings? I can’t reconcile this, he appears to be a man of zero integrity along with a whole lot of other unflattering uncharactaristics. I don’t have a problem with anyone practicing their beliefs as long as it doesn’t hurt people, I just can’t understand how after all this time people still believe he was anything but a narcissistic liar, with a whole host of personal problems.

In reply to tetloj. There are many, let me stress that MANY, websites dedicated to the helping of people who have in one way or another been taken for a ride by the COS. This group is fun to read in comparison to some of the more serious places I've been. Having 'lost' a dear person in my life to this con I have always been an out spoken opponent and even active protester of the continued existence of these poor saps made to become criminals merely to make some VERY rich and powerful.
