That's the clam money machine. They stole it from the Price is Right set. First of all nobody ever makes an even number. Narcaloon has a success rate of 70 to 89 % rate depending on who you ask. The IAS Galla has lots of strange numbers."Crime rate has gone down 50% in Colombia" just by them selling those wth booklets"

I'm so grateful to you Sheila. Thank you so much for speaking out.

And I can't imagine how profitless and excruciating and confusing it was to see little ones warehoused like that, and to have to cut thru miles of meaningless red tape even to get them to the park, and when you finally managed it, having your heart break watching them blink their eyes and try to hide. Your interview was flooring.

And thanks for the kind words. But it's honestly me who is the fortunate one. I would have gone crazy if they both disappeared. Same my dad. I do think Linda knew that.

But frankly - I'm no saint and I fuck up frequently. Nothing worse than watching your spicy little one's face collapse into tears because you lost your temper. Nothing better than having your little one fall asleep on your lap during story time. I'm just a working musician, and I don't have the money to get her the really nice things . . .the Baby Brain Gym, or Toddler Grooming for College or even cable tv for chrissakes. Especially as the CoS (and now I understand, the IAS) is now in possession of my entire life savings. But regardless, I am lucky. Very lucky.

And Sheila !! You have a FANTASTIC laugh. :) Every time you started laughing I couldn't help but smile, too. It made your difficult story a little easier to watch. Again, thank you.

Three separate images. Between the shadows and the LED sign in the left window. The bird most likely has chicks in a nest near the sign. Good eye though!

That was my vid, monkeyknickers.
Everything I said was true, and there was so much more horror for those poor SO children.
The way they were afraid to go beyond an area the size of their cribs when they finally got out really tore me up, too. Those poor kids were denied so much opportunity to explore and learn about just everyday things. Build treehouses? igloos in winter? Play corner baseball or kick-the-can? Build a gokart with a lawnmower engine? No.
Their world is so very, very small. Their opportunities limited because they were stuck in a place where even their imagination was limited.
We've known for 30 plus years how important early exposure and education is to young minds and what an incredible difference it makes in their school and life performance.
Ashleen is so fortunate to have you. God bless you both. I wish Ashleen every joy of discovery available to her and I know she'll have that, because she has you. May you both awake in joy for every day of your lives. x x x Sheila

Because they are young I don't just chuck them in with those who do have for real mental illness. I just see a parallel between the two. The difference being that a kid grows up eventually and evens out. It's hard being a kid, you got all that is around you, you are too small for people to take you seriously (yet believe they should), big people take advantage of your young gullibility, and if you grew up short (like I did) it takes FOREVER to be able to go on "big kid" rides! I hate to admit it but I always crack up when I see a kid completely freak out over the smallest thing. Like, the mom said they were going to a certain place and then the plans get changed? The kids starts crying and starts thinking that this really is the end of the world and they didn't get to go where they were promised AND their parent lied to them, therefore that parent HATES them lol I use this example only cuz I had to deal with this situation while I was in Washington. Kid's really hate it when they are in this state of fit and sees someone laughing at them. I have had kids throw shit at me over it. I feel bad, but 98% of the time I am able to talk them down from this End of the World state of mind, and get them to laugh. Once you got them to laugh you are pretty golden after that. Apologizing to them also helps. They may be only kids, but their feelings do get hurt by this display of laughter and nobody should be above apologizing to a child if they really did hurt their feelers!
