The testimonials on Lee’s website are at least in large part from Scientologists, including one who works for CCHR, one who was a member of the Sea Org (and who signed a declaration that when pregnant she was not coerced into an abortion), an acoustic busker, and even a Wayans (the ex-wife of Keenan Ivory).

And a man named Greg Willardson, who may or may not be the same Greg Willardson who was involved in Operation Freakout and Operation Snow White (for which he was convicted along with Mary Sue). Willardson was 31 when arrested in ’78, the truthaboutscientology site records him being active until at least 2006, and the photo accompanying the testimonial suggests a man in his sixties, so it’s a possibility.

In the UK, a science writer, Simon Singh, wrote a damning article on the lack of scientific badis, and was sued for libel by the Chiropractic association. Lawsuits as an alternative to engagement – wonder where we’ve heard that before. Reason got the last laugh, though, after a major lobbying campaign by skeptics and others, the UK libel law was changed. All thanks to Chiropactic!

I personally don’t like dumb women, but I realize that it took real intelligence for April to play that dumb. I’ve seen her in other parts. She’s not dumb.
