The only cure to any addiction is the realization that you do not possess theneed or want for the substance, and even then doubts may come back into your mind. So, really there is no “cure”. Only will power and determination. As well as SUPPORT from those whom you trust and love.

My experience with AA or NA has been that they both have things inthem that may work for some people.but the problem withmost sustance abuse programs is that the disease is as complex as the person. So, general 12 stepss or uniformity in such programs tends not to work for very long.

I have seen people get off drink and drugs but act as if they are in a cult. Only socializing with people in the program and applying the steps to everything in their lives, and only have the program to talk about.

This is why I have not gone that route. I prefer kickingthe sheets and talking to a therepist.

I get a little dorktacular when it comes to history, deviants, and all manners of movies good and bad. My mind is full of stuff like this lol wanna talk Kennedy Assassination….oh soorry wrong blog =)

Actually, this type of sales has been going on since at least the 1920s, if not further, with the Florida sale of swampland, and has been repeated over the years for all sorts of scams.
