The 126 years is derived by multiplying 21 years, the alleged age at which the body matures, by a factor of 6. Hubbard said several times in the 50’s that mammals live for 6 times the length of time it takes their bodies to mature. At the time, humans were only living 3.5 times that length, not the full 6 times. I believe Hubbard used 20 years and not 21 years. Using 20 years, he claimed bodies were designed to last 120 years.

In reply to Trustmeonthis. Very good point and there are as you said earlier people like this. Some were active FSMs and some were high profile in there fields and achieved Celeb status. Like Milton Kitsalis (vilified and dead), Craig Jensen, ( WISE proponent semi-retired), Barry Kline (FSM still active but no longer well known), John McMasters (first Clear, kicked out), Amanda Ambrose (dead), Jim Killergis (still active but no longer well known, and of course Michael Lewis ( who still thinks he is a celeb, but his claim to fame is a dead, killer son). There are many more, those ones I know about. The church relies heavily on these people to motivate the acolytes and bring in new people.
