Not really that fast. That posting is a combination of 1984, the Peter Principle, Chinese Communist great leap forward, and observation of entities that have no real feedback mechanisms. The only reason that Co$, LRH, and DM haven’t killed more people out of their hubris is that they exist as a part of, rather than in control of society, in my opinion.

As I’ve posted before, my first brush with Dianetics was in 1957. That isn’t that fast. I didn’t really pay that much attention to it after that, but kept hearing about people who had blown.

Finally, years ago, I read “Bare Faced Messiah.” Since I live in the Coachella Valley, I’ve run into retirees who ran into Co$ as Riverside County ofIficials, others who watched LRH try to scam people years ago in Phoenix, and for the hell of it, tried to find the Mel Avenue house in Palm Springs where LRH hid. (I think it’s been torn down).

I feel a certain kinship with people who have blown, because there are elements of scriptural rigidity and control of the flock that Co$ shares with the fundamentalist Christian background I come from. NOTE: I SAID ELEMENTS. Co$ is flat out evil. Fundamentalists are not, but the reliance on scriptures is similar.

I really did laugh out loud at that one.

There is no possible prequel. $cientology is all a work of fiction out of the perverted mind of LRH, and it didn’t exist before he wrote it. To depict what went before would be a blank screen.

It would indeed kill it off.
