It seems to me that poor Andrea, in her attempt to describe the value of the course, has run into the unfortunate fact that there are no recognizable benefits that the course provided in her life. And understandably so. Looking up the definitions of 50 words and making clay models to describe various moral situations is unlikely to provide one with new insight in regard to the problems one faces at work, in ones personal life or anywhere else.

Too true Haiku. But the poor folks who get bound up by Scientology are looking to improve themselves. You and I may know that all self-improvement courses and methods are like a cat chasing it’s own tail. However when you’re caught in the trap and chasing your tail why would Scientology ever tell you the truth?

Tony, I know Michael “Doven”. He’s a failed actor. His older brother was moderately successful as a catalogue model in the 1980’s( are from Colorado) & their real last name is something like Dovenmuehl. Mike was insanely proud of auditioning for & not getting picked as the “Karate Kid” back in the 1980s. Like many wannabe actors he became involved with Scientology to forward his career. So when he rambles on about Scientology, what he really means is “I could have been somebody” but no one thought I had any talent other than Xenu.

The crazy be strong in that one. He has been pretty much dumped by Tom Cruise but does retain his position as official photographer of Scientology: Weddings of Doom, Baby Celebs etc .
