I didn’t mean to equate lobotomies and surgery to stop epileptic seizures. The ability to image and find the ‘storm of neural activity’ and the finding of organic structural causes for epileptic conditions is one of the great failures of CO$. They call such conditions ‘psychosomatic’ and blame drug companies for them.

What’s done for epileptics is actually a lot better than the old lobotomies. What they cut or remove is determined by where the storm of neural activity originates in their seizures. It isn’t just blindly damaging bits of the frontal lobe on a hunch and a hypothesis.

I did read your response, and thank you. I enjoy your posts as well and have learned a lot from you. I couldn’t agree more with your statement about the nature of the human beings in each party.

However, having recently been through an ordeal with some friends who misplaced their trust in someone (after I tried to warn them away) because, and I quote, “I like his politics”, I am maybe a tad oversensitive to what I perceive (rightly or wrongly; wrongly, in this case) as political generalities. I am truly sorry if I offended you.
