The ‘Atlantic Incident’ will be an asterisked lesson for all adverts. The Atlantic’s only problem was their client. The client wanted only pro scieno comments and the marketing staff complied. The scieno sock puppets were primed and ready and they faithfully entered their comments.

Only the Atlantic didn’t turn off the ‘thumbs down’ or ‘vote down’ function on their comment system. A positive written comment can be torn down by 400 thumbs down. That and the intense attention other media gave it, generated more anti-miscavige, anti-scieno news in all media, well, that just made the client (the CO$) pull down their advert and run away. Corporate CO$ just plays ostrich when the excrement hits the fan these days.
