I had a good weekend. Had lots of friends over and went to some friends’ houses. It was nice.

Since my last post yesterday, my family has been dealing with a serious medical emergency concerning my son. I am at home for a short time to take the dog out and check phone and email messages and grab a few things.

I’m hoping if anyone reading this could say a prayer for him – it would mean so much to me. Also, if any of my thoughtful buddies here could help figure out some more details with Derek for his Christmas wish list and could also alert others about our “Very Derek Christmas” plans who may not have seen this thread. I would be so grateful!

Do they’ kick you to the curb’ like a red-headed step-child (or mama’s boy with delusions of prophet-hood?)
