Here’s another point people are missing. Locally (near Flag), there was a push some years back to raise funds so that the po’ black folk could be trained. They were not expected to pay for it themselves, but there was a push for donations so books and training time could be purchased for black NOI ministers – this was a project that to me appeared to work for Scn as not only a new revenue source but a ‘social betterment’ project to trot out to outsiders and crow that Scn was really doing something to help the less fortunate. I’m sure the FSM model of selling books and classes appealed to the NOI as well; we train you for free and then expect you to move your flock in here for a percentage.

Regarding the Nation of Islam, we in RTC already have our Battle Plan in place. Re COS pushing their “secular” programs thru NOI would also be an indirect strategy – they may be able to piggyback on the NOI lobby for grants and funding for various programs to push into the inner city – but I think it would be hard for them to “sell” those programs retail direct to the black communitty- the black community in the US is one of the most religious community’s as well- as soon as there is a whiff of some cult religion being behind Narconon, criminon, applied schol. I think the black communitty would fight it – see the success Torry Magoos videos have had already – once the churches in those communities Started spreading the word it would be a trend difficult to combat – of course in any large religion there will be a few shills in Sheeps clothing and false profits selling out for a buck but most would fight it IMO

But failure onThe back end does not mean the COS amd NOI would not get some big chunks of Govnmt cash on the front end to give it a try
