This thread is pretty old, to be sure…but I can say that oodles of high profile members have left the fold of this now impotent flock since 2002. I think whoever wrote “only five people” is in denial.

I agree with Vistaril, the whole foreing debt to China can be paid off by sizing co$ money, and the whole country of good USA can be turned from under the water from overwhelming foreing debt to a surplus. But the goverment does not have any reallity on the church, unless they masses of people parading at one time complaining about the church it wont be real for them to act. the CO$ is a modern form of holocaust. lives ruined everywhere.

I think what it boils down to regarding Steve Poore and independent Scienologists is that the auditing tech is what’s good about Scientology, but they’re rejecting the ethics part of Hubbard’s philosophy. RPF, Sea Org, EPF, conditions, etc are all of Hubbard’s creation. So they are in fact without acknowledging it, abandoning certain Hubbard practices that are at the core of the abuse. Auditing is OK. Hard selling and RPF is wrong. They are in essence not Scientologists as per Hubbard’s own definition. They are ‘squirrels’.

In reply to skippress. Jesse Prince had a semi-auto rifle pointed at him and the other execs. According to him, the only reason he didn't pull the trigger because his wife was still in the sea org at the time. Did you ever hear the Jesse Princes Tapes? He was appointed by Hubbard himself to be the top Qual Sec or some such shit. He even sec checked the little midget at Hubbard's orders. The midget was crying because he was afraid the old man would send him to the RPF. Prince is also on record saying that he is baffled that people just allowed themselves to be beaten up by this impudent dwarf. Prince is working on a book about the last few miserable years of Hubbard's life. When Prince visited the ranch Hubbard was living in, he said he could hear Hubbard yelling at those imaginary 'BTs'. If only he had a tape recorder. That would have been priceless to hear.
