The movie has been a huge flop too, they banked an awful lot on him. I believe the whole franchise is now being reconsidered.

No one ever does, though. Nor do they ever provide video or audio evidence of their claims; not even a paper document. Lots of smoke and mirrors here.

I don’t see it, but he’s coming out with “The Mummy” next summer; that’s a big gamble because if it’s not a blockbuster, Hollywood will notice. But 35 years at the top is still remarkable.

Tom also has a staff (even everyone who works within his homes), that works for basically NOTHING that is entirely made up of Scientologists. Miscavige makes sure he is entirely surrounded by Scientology….24/7.

He is still here, but his films aren’t doing nearly as well as they had done in the past, he’s losing quite a bit of his audience. The shine is definitely off his star these days. MI5 did decently but that’s more due to the franchise I honestly believe than Cruise himself. His other movies have honestly been “meh”. I’ve noticed all his characters are the same, he’s boxed himself in….boring.

I’ve been reading about Cruise’s demise as a film star for years, and he’s still here. At 53, he is still able to star in action films; MI5: Rogue Nation opens in a few weeks. People may hate that he’s had such extraordinary success, and/or that he’s involved with COS, but you can’t take away what the man has achieved as an actor.

But yours is generally a harmless weakness, unless you attempt to impose your religious beliefs on others. Scientology seems to be much more.

In fairness, there are people who would never walk in in the first place. This type of seeking has always seemed a curious obsession to me.
