Leah Remini talks briefly about Scientology on Access Hollywood, says very little

Leah_Remini6Leah Remini talked about Scientology this evening on Access Hollywood, interviewed by her friend Holly Robinson Peete, and managed to say virtually nothing more than she already has.

Holly told Leah that she had been very public and honest about the transition and that she handled it gracefully. What was it like going through that and Dancing with the Stars at the same time? Was it a supportive environment?

Yes, you go through transitions in your life and there are lessons you go through, she answered, and you hope you learn from them.

She talked about losing friends “left and right,” and Holly asked about that. Was she all right with the new friends in her life?

Thank God you have real friends in your life, Leah answered, and you have your family. If you have your famiy, you have everything.

She called it a “learning experience.”

And that was about it. Leah never actually uttered the word “Scientology,” she didn’t talk about the 2006 wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, where she first began questioning the church that she’d grown up in. Nothing about David Miscavige, his vanished wife Shelly, Leah’s missing-person report to the LAPD, and nothing about being declared a “suppressive person.”

Wow. A national platform, and that’s all there was to it.

We will say, however, that Leah looked amazing. That dancing really paid off!
