HOW SCIENTOLOGY COERCED A CHILD TO HAVE AN ABORTION: THE LAURA DECRESCENZO FILES

—————- In anticipation of her biggest day in court yet, Laura DeCrescenzo and her attorneys hit the Church of Scientology with 928 pages of new filings —————- Details from 18,000 pages of evidence show how Scientology manipulated a child to keep her working under slave-like conditions —————- A key document describing DeCrescenzo’s unwillingness to have her coerced abortion is missing from the evidence Scientology was ordered to produce By Tony Ortega Wednesday afternoon, Laura DeCrescenzo filed explosive new information in her four-year legal odyssey against the Church of Scientology, submitting 928 pages of new declarations and exhibits in anticipation of a crucial October 23 hearing in her lawsuit against the church which alleges abuse, including allegations that she was forced to have an abortion at only 17 years of age. Key to the new filings is information gleaned from thousands of pages of previously secret files that the church fought mightily to keep under wraps. But on Monday, the U.

Tonight: Scientology Gets Its IAS Gala On — Let’s Get Dauntless, Defiant, and Resolute!

IASStillJust two weeks after Scientology held its grand opening for its new quasi-cathedral — the Super Power Building — it’s time for another big party in Clearwater, Florida.

The annual International Association of Scientologists gala is normally held in a tent in England in October. But this year, the tent was shipped over to Florida in the summer, and it stands across the street from the Super Power Building. It will host events tonight and tomorrow as Scientology’s legal slush fund celebrates itself after another year of fundraising.

We’re looking forward to leaked photos of the event because we think we’ll finally get a chance to see the stage backdrop whose schematic we published here more than a month ago.

Those pictures from inside the tent may take a while to surface. In the meantime, we think we may get some reports from the scene on the street this afternoon. So while we wait for those to come in, please enjoy this official Scientology teaser to get you in the mood…

And of course, any time we see the words Dauntless, Defiant, and Resolute, we just have to revisit one of our favorite videos of all time…

(For the newcomers, that’s a song by Chill EB, Scientology’s in-house rapper, which was turned into a video by the youngsters at the Copenhagen Advanced Org.)

We can only hope that Chill makes the scene tonight in Clearwater. If you spot him, let us know!

UPDATE: Look what the team of Mike Bennitt and Mike Rinder did today over Clearwater!

And here’s a short video of the banner shot by Mark Bunker…

Thank you Mark….another choker. These are a great antidote to a rotten day (not that I’m having one now but…)

Right back where I started from…

People in N. Korea get sent to jail or work camps for not applauding enough.

Absolutely Amazing Shoops.. Actually it gave me chills.. Just creeps me out.. I love your little avi box in the corner.. very professional..

Is that Tommy Davis 2nd from left?

      • ShoopZ

Yup. Apparently this was in 2007.

So sad and depressing to see so many young people caught in the cult.

Amen. This is how I felt after seeing Black Rob’s pictures from Facebook. So sad.

So I see. It made me sign into FB before…

      • Aslansown

Thank you! I wasn’t sure if people could see it or not.

      • Sunny Sands

That looks like it was taken in Davy’s Park. You can see the Super Power building in the back on the left.

    • Cunning Stunt

      Welcome to Medieeeeeeeeeeeeval Times!

      • Aslansown

That’s exactly what it reminded me of!

        • Cunning Stunt

I need to see what these OTs can do with a lance! Cause over joust! (The loser and his horse will endure endless sec-checks at their own expense, and a good time will be had by all!)

          • Charlotte

I feel the need to look for spoonerisms in all your posts….I wonder why that should be….

            • Cunning Stunt

              Haha! No idea. Nope. None.at.all.

    • GlibWog

      What a gorgeous stud..

      The Horse ain’t bad either..

      OK.. Bleh

      • Aslansown

        Hahahahahaha!

        • GlibWog

I could barely write that.. ugh..ugh..

          • Aslansown

This whole thing is so stupid…and I’ll have to hearsay how they got this “Rev.” into scientology. That whole thing doesn’t make a bit of sense…

            • GlibWog

              $ Talks darlin

            • Aslansown

Yeah. After I wrote that I thought — this is scientology, it doesn’t need to make sense , but you’re right, $$ talks loudly in the “church.”

    • Verve

I wonder who the other guy is?

      • Aslansown

I’m guessing they plucked him from the local Medieval Times!

        • Verve

Totally completes the ridiculousness of the image.

      • http://www.tingleff.org/jensting/muslinger/ Jens TINGLEFF

I thought he looked like the rider they have every year?

    • OrangySky

The blond guy looks like….wait for it….LRH!!

      He’s back! He’s back!

      • Charlotte

I can’t unsee it! It burns!

        • OrangySky

          But I’m right, aren’t I? It’s him!

          • Charlotte

I’d say it’s definitely how he saw himself.

And, oh lord, have realised he looks strikingly like my neighbour. The one who keeps making TC references.

      • Aslansown

        Ewww….

    • Bury_The_Nuts

That poor Arabian horse is embarrassed!

      • Aslansown

Did you happen to see the fair knight when you were out and about?

Another shot from the haunted Harrison hotel…

  • KJP in Portland

OMG, I had a dream earlier that I was shaking hands with Rev. Allfreddie, like he was in Portland or something, and I was arguing with him! (I had a streak of several days of GREAT dreams, then I get one like this). This is the 2nd Sci dream I’ve had in the past 2 weeks. How freaking weird is that? Any other “never-ins” get Scio dreams ever?

Yuck, I had a dream with Allfreddie in it! Do I get sick or just wing-it?

    • Eclipse-girl

I will hug you (as long as Mr E understands) until you can go back to sleep

Anything with alfredddie is a nightmare

      • KJP in Portland

That was just SO weird (and I knew exactly who he was in the dream too). Gotta get back to dreaming about girls tonight, or at least a big seafood dinner, or my fantasy roadtrip…something!

        • chukicita

I think you should take a roadtrip to see Alfreddie and have a real-life conversation. You could tell him it came to you in a dream. Then some girls will show up to take you to a big seafood dinner. Hey, it’s up to you.

    • Charlotte

I have Scio dreams often, KJP.

      • KJP in Portland

Glad I’m not alone. I thought my evil psych meds were ‘doing one’ on me! I mean, of all people, that skungy old guy / turncoat Baptist. I’m still brushing my tongue off!

        • Bury_The_Nuts

Lol, you will get used to it.haha

    • ThetaBara

I have them too, to the point that I really try to avoid reading about this shit right before bed. I recently dreamed that Mr Bara and I had gotten a room at the Ft Homicide and that the restaurant was closed so we were trying to figure out where to get food. AS IF I would trust food from a scilon restaurant, or stay in their creepy hotel!

    • Verve

Luckily, I’ve never had the {joy} of having a $ci dream. I dream about demons and monsters (horror fan), but I guess $ci is too icky for me, lol.

  • Bury_The_Nuts

Does anyone know what Miscavige’s bullet proof vehicle looks like?
We think we saw him leave.

    • IASREG

It is supposedly a GMC Van.

      • Bury_The_Nuts

        Score!

        • Aslansown

          Picture???

Is everybody coming out of the tent, or did he just skedaddle really fast?

          • Bury_The_Nuts

No pic, black with blacked out windows. Sea org symbol boldly on the back.
I think it said “Dignity” on it.
            Kinda looked like a hearse.

            • Aslansown

Hahahaha!!! Wonder where it’s taking him. Wouldn’t he be staying at the FH in a COB suite?

            • Bury_The_Nuts

No, the penthouse at the Osceola or the Sandcastle. It was headed that way.

            • Aslansown

I should have known he’d have a penthouse suite somewhere where he wouldn’t be disturbed by the run of the mill church members.

            • Sunny Sands

Dignity is the brand name funeral homes use in this area.

            • Aslansown

              Seriously?

            • Sunny Sands

Yes. It is a network that bought up a lot of funeral homes around here. Not sure about nationwide.

            • Aslansown

That’s just really interesting since Bury said it looked like a hearse!

            • Sunny Sands

It’s very interesting. I don’t see scilons buying anything used for DM, but it would explain the Dignity logo if they bought it used.

            • Aslansown

Do they have the wheat symbol on them? (Bury’s question above.)

            • Sunny Sands

They do have a golden symbol that could be wheat, I thought it was a tree.

            • Aslansown

              This is intriguing!

            • Bury_The_Nuts

Do they have the wheat symbol on them?

            • Sunny Sands

Hehe, it’s really a golden tree, but it could look like wheat. Too funny.

            • Bury_The_Nuts

Hubby said it looked like the Cadillac symbol.

            • TXCowgirl

SCI/Dignity was founded in Houston, TX and their world office is still there. Hmmm….

            • Bury_The_Nuts

Google the logo? I can tell you.
Nevermind, I just did. That is not it.

I am pretty sure this was the dwarf.

            • TXCowgirl

              Ask and you shall receive…..

            • Bury_The_Nuts

Thanks. Absolutely not what we witnessed. Not even close.

            • GlibWog

are you guys in your hotel..or at the other place we talked about.. wink wink..

            • Bury_The_Nuts

              Hotel.

            • GlibWog

Good.. I can see you chuggin your wine now.. errrr I mean sipping..

Was the food at new rest good.. do you wish you would have gone to Tonys?

            • tetloj

Wow. I was starting to think you may have been the best positioned protesters since the day Stacy Moxon met her tragic end.

            • Bury_The_Nuts

              Ouch!

            • GlibWog

Bury.. Take a stab at the # people are chatting about.. 500? 10000? What? I know you always say higher too..

            • Bury_The_Nuts

Oh man, 1500 would be a stretch I think.

            • GlibWog

              Awwwwwwwwwwww yes..

              A. Figure in Bury’s exaggeration ( NOT on purpose but to give benefit of doubt)

              B. Subtract Staff/ Sea Org

              C. Extras

              D.. etc. etc..

              = What? 500 publics

              I like those numbers..

            • tetloj

Straight out of John P’s playbook, Baby. I like it!

            • GlibWog

              I don’t know why..but all I thought about today..was..

How many people show up today? If the numbers were so low during SP and Scn were literally trapped there and had NO choice or $ to leave..

and with those that have ” Blown ” after that disastrous event.. shhhhhhh tip toe out no one will notice..

Plus the day after Thanksgiving.. and cold temp.. the above factions.. It adds up to

ONE GIANT FAIL.. OMG.. Now my next ? will have to come from an insider who has the answer..

What celebrities showed up.. If JT, TC and KP show up again and no one else.. OMG it will be one silent and deadly fart in the tent..

            • Bury_The_Nuts

I tried to get audio behind the tent. I could hear the dwarfs voice, that weird cadence he has….but it is indeciferable.

            • GlibWog

Shit it is indecipherable when you have him in a hall with fabulous speaker system.

            • Bury_The_Nuts

              Prescient point!

            • Bury_The_Nuts

No extras. Too cheap to feed people they can’t reg. lot of staff hanging around the peripheries.
              500-700 public….sounds pretty close.
And man did they hit the bricks after Miscavige left. No barring the doors this time. They were outta there.
              Davey’s park was EMPTY!

            • GlibWog

Wow.. Poor Bury I know you are a big baby about being cold.. and Dee wasn’t feeling 100% ..

YOU OWE MR NUTS BIG TIME.. BIG TIME.. I miss you sweetie : ]

            • Bury_The_Nuts

A couple of the cops were assholes this time and Mr. Nuts didn’t take kindly to being filmed by a Sciloon and said something and a female cop told Mr. NUTs to move on.
I was just glad to get him out of there because he was getting agita!

            • GlibWog

I can just see him.. Yep …

and that is why my husband asked me if CW Police Station took PayPal.

            • Bury_The_Nuts

I am definitley not bringing him back to Clamwater.

            • GlibWog

Hahahahahahah OMG I knew that would be the end of that..hahaha

            • GlibWog

How long did it last? I forgot to ask.. and also..

Did anyone say anything about the Temp in the tent?

            • Bury_The_Nuts

Two hours? No word on tent temp. Weather was quite nice, if a bit chilly.

            • GlibWog

OMG .. With speeches and the Entertainment .. etc.. Wait that doesn’t include dinner during that 2 hrs too… does it..

Yep.. I would rather have this weather in Fl than that Hot sun anyday..

              sweater/ jacket/ mink weather (hahahha)

            • TXCowgirl

              They are world wide.

            • OrangySky

Think it is a Scilon outfit? Or perhaps an aging whale died during the ceremony?

            • Bury_The_Nuts

              Roflmfao!!!!

            • OrangySky

:-) You gotta admit…it COULD happen!

            • TXCowgirl

Dignity’s parent company is SCI, Service Corp. International. I’ve known the guy who started the business since I was ten years old.

            • KJP in Portland

Now THIS puts an interesting spin on things…what IF Sci owned the funeral homes?: And they would be a front for ‘disappeared’ Sciloons. They’d have all the facilities to cremate, and do the other mortician services!

Maybe they planned ahead after the Lisa McPherson thing and bought their own crematoriums ahead of the whole World Domination thing.

The money to buy a chain like Dignity would be chump-change for DM. Food for thought here. Hmmm???

            • KJP in Portland

LOL! Maybe they rented it! (and have a large SeaOrg magnet to slap on back!)

            • IASREG

Sure it didn’t say Safari? It is a Safari GMC Van, customized with bullet proof windows, so they are probably tinted pretty dark.

            • Bury_The_Nuts

Didn’t say safari, but it was def a GMC van, per Hubby. Looked like custom paint job.
I am not positive about the word. But it was a single word in a gold metallic script on front quarter panel.

            • GlibWog

There is a Dignitary Limousine Service.. Let me Hearsay it.. BBR

              Yes.. South Fl

          • Bury_The_Nuts

He left about 15 minutes before the rest.

            • KJP in Portland

I hope they buckled DM into his baby seat nice and comfy for the ride home.

        • Captain Howdy

You should have done a flopsy.

          • KJP in Portland

If I was still a young kid on the ENTERPRISE, I could’ve hollered “GROUP MOON!”. We’d have 20 sailors on the flight deck mooning him as he drove by!

We used to moon the Soviet Bear bombers when they would fly reconaisance over us in the Western Pacific / South China Sea. They’d come abreast, about 1,500 feet off to starboard, at about 500 feet altitude. One pass, we had about 200 airedales (Aviation Saliors) moon the Bear. One of my Navy buds on FB has a photo of one of those times.

We worked 7 days a week, 12 hours a day at sea. It broke the monotony.

DO NOT MENTION the name of that sellout.

He lives in the district to the south of me. I give what I can to his opponent.

    • KJP in Portland

      Is it a GREMLIN???

            • GlibWog

E OMG WTF WAS I thinking? When I wrote it I shivered.. It was like a bad Acid Trip..

              ( ask Howdy ) eeeeep..

            • Eclipse-girl

Otters are cool. We have them all up and down the Orygun coast. They even get upriver quite a ways. Otters and Sea Lions are kind of revered here. They’re just too cool.

          yes, they are.

Gaaahhhh. Got to get to hotel so I can type!!!

  • KJP in Portland

Are there any turn-out figures yet? Anyone get a good enough look to guess the attendance? Did they even get 1,000 unfortunates to show up?

    • Verve

BTN said earlier that it looked rather dead. That was many hours ago, though. Hope she comes back to fill us in.

  • Eclipse-girl

OK, I admit defeat. I tried, really I did.

For the lutz, if you want them, go to JohnP’s blog for that past 24 hrs

FLUNK101 showed up. He was engaged . I really tried hard to keep him on topic and not revert to Ad Hominem attacks.

I was gone for most of the day and could only engage him for the last 2 or 3 hrs.
I know I am human, and therefore imperfect.

I just think he didn’t have to be so {mean} in his last response.

I can accept constructive criticism about how I should have commented.

    • KJP in Portland

You’re fine. I think he’s a drunk. He keeps typing about the same damn thing over and over again, trying to ‘defend’ himself. If he were to talk about something current and on-topic, he might make it on JP’s blog, but the way he’s going, I don’t see JP keeping him around the blog too much longer.

My bet is that FLUNK101 gets his plug pulled any hour now.

      • Charlotte

If he’s (she’s?) attempting to ‘defend’, he/she has already ‘flunked’. Basics 101: Don’t defend, only attack

        • Eclipse-girl

Then for the strategy is to also ask questions, and ask for evidence, with a great deal of calm and reserve

(Yes, I use the EDIT feature often)

      • Eclipse-girl

Depends on when JohnP logs on. Everyone deserves a break now and then. I edited my last reply. Buried of course.

FLUNK flies off the handle extremely quickly, though

      • ThetaBara

I think that too, or else has some sort of episodic mental illness as others have speculated. But my money is on mean drunk.

        • Eclipse-girl

TY, Theta. You deserve (((HUGS))) tonight, too

        • OrangySky

I’d vote mental illness off meds PLUS mean drunk = insufferable.

    • Missionary Kid

      Who the hell is ZlogonjeAgain?

      • tetloj

        Long time reader I gather

        • Missionary Kid

It’s someone who nails Flunk’s ass to the wall by doing screen captures of his past posts. I suspect it’s one of our bunker friends who has been waiting to put it to flunk when he turned troll again. They are giving Flunk a taste of his own medicine.

          • Bury_The_Nuts

He has already done it at least three times prior to today.

        • Qbird

Long time reader yes tetloj… Zlogonje is a long time watcher/reader/friend to the bunker albeit a very quiet commenter. He calls Flunk on his excrement. Flunk can never be truly engaged because his is lost – lost in his mind – out of his right mind – always with the “poor me, no one understands me” & then inevitably, every time, he gets rude foul and nasty. Same thing that happened today over at JohnP.’s happened here for a year and a half… and it happened to him at the rodeo too before here. He is a troll of the highest order in that if you feed him he will continue and will not stop. He is damaged, hurt, and being so he wills to damage & hurt others. He is ridiculous, quite like SOS. People of the bunker want to engage these folks and hopefully “help” but they never can… compassion does not work with these guys, no one can change their minds – they are lost souls – walking dead – wasting time. If no one would engage, they would slink away – but this does not happen.

          • Bury_The_Nuts

            And started at VV!

          • GlibWog

OMG… I love, love, love this..

Picture me.. Uhm Blond Hair, Hookah, 35 yrs older, and uhm 40 # heavier.. oh and shorter.. Oh and wrinkles..

You would NOT believe how much I look like her..

          • OrangySky

“Compassion does not work” – ah, but some of us have to try it anyway, just so we can tell ourselves we tried everything…

            • Qbird

Ah yes, I understand your position Orange Sky, I understand what you are saying here. Of course you must try; you are compelled to point out the facts as you know them & extend as much kindness as you are able to people who post crap like Flunk & SOS. You must. I recognize this. I have listened to y’all for a couple of years now & I admire your abilities with word play in dealing with “trolls”. You my dear are wicked smart, sharp as a tack. You regular commentators have far greater talents & strengths than I do, which is why I can (I will) never engage. I leave these attempts at fair communication to you & others. I withdraw personally & watch & see who says what & why. It is very interesting and I have learned much. I support your position – I up vote you – I want & hope understanding to occur. However, my feeling is that these efforts, with these two specifically, fall on deaf deluded ears. IMO Flunk is insane, he suddenly and for no discernible reason snaps & it gets ugly. He suffers. Feelings get hurt. How to heal this? I fear it cannot be done on this blog. SOS is so deeply entrenched in Hubtard’s belief system that it seems to me to be a waste of energy & time to point out Scientology’s bogus bullshit to him. He is too busy “saving the planet” and simply will not listen to Reason… so I am pessimistic & I apologize for that. I should like to be proven wrong… I hope I am.
In the meantime, I very much appreciate your tenacity and in-tent-ness. Luv, Q

“If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” – Dalai Lama

            • OrangySky

Thank you Q-Bird. Love to you, too. I agree with the Dalai Lama. There is not enough compassion in the world. Compassion is the way to go as much of the time as humanly possible.
After being screwed to the wall because of my compassion over the years, I’ve learned to develop boundaries. Big ones. You can push me pretty far. I’ll forgive beyond the ability of most to forgive (if not forget.) However there’s a line that you cross – and that’s it. I would advise most people not to cross that line with me.

          • tetloj

            Wow – you’re hot Qbird

      • Bury_The_Nuts

Zolognie is someone who decided to troll Flunk. He made it his mission and he captured some real ugly moments in Bunker history.

        • Eclipse-girl

That person is good. I do not think of the screen captures. TY ZA

        • Jimmy Threetimes

Zolognie sounds like a specialized brand of Bologna that I cannot afford, but I’m sure it is delicious.

          • tetloj

Well his evidence was timely and delicious

        • Missionary Kid

AFAIC, the proof was in the pudding, (s)he didn’t have to be as obscene as Flunk. I notice Flunk only replied to ZlogonjeAgain. once, and that was early on.

I’d say that Flunk is passive aggressive as hell. When he thinks that the person is a woman or that they have his number, he doesn’t respond.

ZlogonjeAgain has Flunk’s number. he can’t take his own medicine.

          • OrangySky

I agree, the ad homs and the attacks were offensive, even coming from Ziogonje/Zolongie in the interest of defending the attacked ones.

S/he should stick to the screen caps and just-the-facts – but those grabs were most ingenious.

        • OrangySky

Zolognie – that was his name? I was thinking “Who was that masked man!” as I read his posts. I don’t recall every seeing him here?
Smart of him to get those screen grabs, though.

    • tetloj

Don’t feel bad EG. Flunk doesn’t want your compassion – and he has had plenty over the last couple of years here and at the VV. And he turned on those that were doing the most to extend humanity to him. Then he lost it with them. Then he apologised (or explained/justified) as he did to day at John’s blog. And then he’d go through the whole thing again. He simply cannot play nice.

      • Jimmy Threetimes

He tried to justify rather than apologize. “If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t lash out or curse those who harassed me.” That’s the line he posted here in his deleted comment and on John P’s blog. That’s the same kind of line you’d expect to hear from a child: “But, but, Mommy, he pinched me first!!” But it’s nowhere near an apology.

        • KJP in Portland

I’m still pissed at the Grace incident. Maybe John P. should be reminded of that.

          • Verve

Somehow I missed that. I heard it was rather bad. Now I can see why.

            • KJP in Portland

It was really bad. She left the Bunker for days. Only the collective love at the Bunker for her drew her back. I mean it took several days. Every day, we were begging her to come back. Tony made him the first (or 2nd) person that he booted off this blog. And, for Tony to get rid of someone, it HAD to be bad.

A few of us guys wished we could’ve had our hands around his neck. He disrupted the blog for several days afterwards. So many people were that upset and angry and wanted to dismember the guy!

            • Verve

              Wow. Just wow.

            • Missionary Kid

Flunk’s pattern would be that he would go for a number of days, being civil and contributing, but then he’d turn on someone, usually a woman, and go after them, hammer and tongs, claiming that he was attacked. Maybe he was, but the “attack,” if there was one, took place days before in a totally different discussion.

Flunk would store up hurts, imagined or real, for a long time, then, when something would trigger him, he’d attack our of all proportion to whatever had been said.

              I’m starting to think he’s a drunk.

            • Bury_The_Nuts

              Not always ;-)

            • Missionary Kid

Was that in reply to my post or my edit?

            • Bury_The_Nuts

              Your edit!

            • Missionary Kid

Thanks. I probably wasn’t paying close enough attention. He could probably do well typing because of the dependent state learning process, where a person learns to type drunk, so they continue to do it fairly well.

            • OrangySky

He does act like a drunk, or an addict or both. He went after my girl Poison Ivy a few times back in VV days.

It’s definitely a pattern. And the flip-outs are pretty out of the blue and unpredictable. A real victim complex.

            • Robert Eckert

There was never any attack on him, ever. He would get outraged not only at whoever he claimed “attacked” him but at anyone pointing out to him that the “attack” never happened.

            • Missionary Kid

You’re right. Any criticism was taken as an attack. His paranoia would take over.

          • noseinabk

JP will know when be gets back. I understand your anger but he is not worth it. He reminds me of gollum from the hobbit. Always full of self pity, mentally unstable and hideously nasty.

      • aegerprimo

I don’t really get why someone has to be that way, and from what you say, he/she has been doing this for a long time. What is the point? I mean what does this person get out of it?

        • Bury_The_Nuts

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
Now the word you are looking for is in this quote.
          Just sayin….
          ;-)

          • OrangySky

I’m very sorry for his mental illness, but he has really outlived his welcome – and any reason for others to give him sympathy.

He needs serious help that commenters on a blog cannot begin to give him.

            • KJP in Portland

He needs to go away and find another blog; say, maybe the Teletubbies blog or something like that.

            • OrangySky

Send him to FOX news or Glenn Back.

            • Jimmy Threetimes

Alright, ease up a little, we know the guy is a jerk. But does he really deserve a sentencing of Fox News? I say he should spend some time in a CNN halfway house.

            • OrangySky

Okay. He can go to CNN. Or TMZ. ;-)

            • Bury_The_Nuts

              Yep, bingo.
Breaks my heart to watch it.
              But, oh well.
Sorry John will have to go sweep up that mess.

        • tetloj

There is some sort of personality dysfunction evident there. He has had plenty of kindness and support floated his way from posters here, and he has eventually trashed that. His post on John P’s is typical of his after-the-event behaviour. Samples of his work posted by ZlogonjeAgain show the EP of tolerating Flunk101 aka Ziontology. Not OSA, just a sad bastard.

        • DeElizabethan

Attention! Some people crave it and will do whatever it takes. Maybe it keeps him alive who knows, or self punishment?

    • noseinabk

Flunk aka zionontologist is not worth engaging. The screen grabs posted are mild compared to just how low he will go.

      • KJP in Portland

I’m still very upset at him for the shit he said to SG2. Ziontologist, yeah…

You just don’t hurt people that bad just because your a little, drunk, housebound, old, chickless loser.

    • Verve

I agree with the others, don’t feel bad. I was think of engaging him, but Zlogon was doing more than enough. After Zlogon, I don’t think any of my monkey pictures would bother Flunk. Nice name he has, eh?

    • MaxSpaceman

The constructive criticism I’ve got for ya’, eGirl, is something I found yesterday, written by Tory/Magoo.

“Tory/Magoo. 2012 Operation Clambake Message Board. Advice on interacting with OSA’bots and trolls.

      1) ANY “bite” (comment, reaction of ANY kind) to an Op is a “win” for OSA.

      2) The ONLY time they lose—is when no one “bites” or answers. Yaude told me this, himself.

      3) My view is this: No matter who—if you see they are constantly doing

(A.) Distract off of *hot* topics)

      (B.) Degrade good, active critics

(C.) Slime the area with bullshit

      – Start posting quotes C o $ does NOT want known.

      4. Forget trying to argue with them, “label” them, “Debate” with them about they being OSA ops.

Granted—you can debate ANYTHING –but make it educational for the lurker about $cientology. >>>>This they do NOT want.<<<<

      5. I’ve watched Yaude go onto a site, (years ago in the 90’s) and start with a distraction.

      • OrangySky

“Start posting quotes C o $ does NOT want known”

        Like what?

        • MaxSpaceman

I think Tory/Magoo would say all the sh1t DM and C o $ does not want known. Like all the stuff they keep secret. Like the stuff Chuck suggested. Like the stuff Tory suggested.

    • aegerprimo

Been following over at JP’s. Yes, his comments ad hominem and vulgar language. I have a problem with that. I thought you did great over there. Keeping trolls at bay and stopping flame wars, I have no idea about, and just watch. So if my opinion means anything, I saw that you tried to get him to engage in a discussion, not spout swear words and insults.

    • DrGreatCham

Well, I’m a noob poster here FWIW, but it appears from the screen-caps on the other site, the accounts of the experienced posters responding to you and the fact that the individual was banned from this board (apparently a very rare or unique event) that you’ve gone above and beyond being civil to a disruptive influence.

      • Missionary Kid

Exactly. Flunk likes to attack women. At the core, he’s a misogynist. His replies to men are never as violent.

        • DrGreatCham

That’s nasty. If he’s going to deliberately distract folks from freely discussing their experiences with Scientology, he needs to take it elsewhere.

          • Missionary Kid

His main source of distraction is his out and out nastiness. He is like an abusive spouse. He offends, then acts normal and reasonable for several days, then attacks again.

He’s discovered John P.’s blog, and he’s started the same pattern there. Once he’s decided that a woman is evil, any post to him on their part, innocuous as hell will trigger him.

He is basically anti-$cientology, but with friends like him….

            • OrangySky

“He is like an abusive spouse. He offends, then acts normal and reasonable for several days, then attacks again” Bingo.

      • KJP in Portland

        Welcome, DrGreatCham, to The Bunker!

        • DrGreatCham

Thanks, KJP! I’ve been lurking for awhile reading Tony Ortega’s posts. I’ve never been in the COS but I’ve taken an off and on interest in it as an example of a vexatious enemy of free speech and as a continuing cult of personality for some time.

          • Bury_The_Nuts

            Yeah, they suck.
Ok, I know that wasn’t particularly profound….but I think ya feel me? No?

            • DrGreatCham

              Absolutely!

            • GlibWog

Hey.. Who is feeling who around this joint?

      • And I don’t rent cars!

Good evening DrGreatCham and a warm welcome to the Bunker! I’ve been erratic in my posts for the past month and half (having “tech” issues of all kinds and it looks like it’ll be that way until the New Year at least), but I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to say, “Thanks for coming out of the Lurkers’ Closet!” Hope you post often (using this avatar and username) and I’m looking forward to reading more of them.

The Bunker Folks call me: Cars.

P.S. Until I replied to your post, I read your username as being Dr. Great Charm :-)
It would be most apropos, in any case, as you seem to possess it in abundance – from the few posts you’ve made already. I suspect you are great in writing satire, parodies, and engaging in witty repartees. Am I close to guessing your writing/personal style?

Actually, no need to answer as I suspect your posts will prove my intuition/gut instincts to be accurate in the days to come as, hopefully, you come out of the Bunker’s Lurkers’ Closet more often to post.

So glad to have you in the Bunker!

        • DrGreatCham

Thank you, Cars! I do like making jokes and satires but I’ll try to tread carefully here. It’s often easy to step on someone’s feelings, especially when they’ve been on the business end of a hurtful entity like COS. Hope you get your tech problems fixed.

      • OrangySky

        Welcome.

    • Sibs

      At least you tried.
Much love to you and everyone else who attempted to converse with Flunk. He’s behaving so ugly and I can’t follow any logic (and I assume it’s because he edited his posts). I say good riddance, I think John P will take care of him.

    • Qbird

You can not be defeated. Flunk can NOT hurt you – he is nothing… he is not important.
He is doggie poo on the bottom of your shoe. Hose it off & fuggetabout-it!!!

    • Robert Eckert

Don’t worry about it Egirl. He is just a very evil man. Probably he was mentally disturbed even before the Scientologists got to him. He goes through cycles, and when he is in his better state he can avoid spewing abuse at people, but he still has no contrition for what he did in his last spew cycle. Fuck him.

    • Espiando

After seeing his bullshit postings, I decided to take the case. So don’t worry.

      • And I don’t rent cars!

A belated Happy Birthday E! I had planned to change my avatar as a birthday gift to you (as promised) but life and “tech” problems got in the way. Haven’t been in the Bunker much since the end of Oct sometime. Did Capt’n H wear your favorite avatar in honor of your birthday – as he had promised? (Or had you TOLD him that he HAD to do it for at least one day on birthday! ;-)
In any case, a Belated Happy Thanksgiving too!
        Cars
P.S. Ya kick Flunk101 in the nuts yet? It’s happening on John P’s blog I believe. I may take a spin over there and see if you need backup (which I rather doubt!). Unfortunately, my gas gage is close to empty. If not, might meet you in one of the intertubes.

        • GlibWog

Hi cars.. I missed you.. Just drivin through huh? xoxo Baby

          • And I don’t rent cars!

Yeah. I’m in the garage. Ran out of gas or something….. Miss you so much; and the Bunker Folks and Bunker Friends – too numerous to list – you all know who you are! Thought I was gonna die from sudden withdraw from my Bunker addiction and Tony’s posts. But maybe by new year, I’ll be back regularly. I’ve been “in the garage” for “tech” problems – all kinds, i.e. human and non-human ;-)
Believe you had great Thanksgiving! Don’t know details yet but getting bits and pieces here and there….. I’m so-o happy for you!!!!!! Way to go Baby!

            • GlibWog

Well you get ” Tuned up” and come back anytime.. You parking space will be reserved always.. Yes.. I reconnected with my adult daughter after more than 2 years..

    • OrangySky

Was just reading what I could of the whole dialogue before turning in to bed. EG he really laid into you. So sorry.

I think he’s an ignore-or-ban case. What Bury said below about “insanity means doing the same thing over and over….” Whatever that lurker/occasional commenter is called – Zionblahblahblah (forgive me Z, it’s late) – it was really interesting to see those old screen grabs. No excuse for that kind of language. Like talking to a mean drunk at a bar.

  • GlibWog

Today is a fitting day to Honor HUBS with this touching work of art I created just for him…

    • Eclipse-girl

      (((HUGS)))

    • KJP in Portland

      Baby! Boom-Boom!

It bluntly sets the facts straight, doesn’t it?

      • GlibWog

Yeah pretty much.. Waiting for FZ and Indies to come down voting me.. I’m good with that.

        That is how I feel..

AMAZING! Love love LOVE this!! Right on, M & M!!

Another topic: Anyone here have Money Knickers address? I printed it out but have lost it somewhere. I have something for the twins and for her 4 year old and want to send it soon (finally!).

    • Eclipse-girl

To the best of my knowledge MK has never given her address. All gifts are to be given to Michael Tilse

For his protection, this is the one for letters and small stuff

      Michael Tilse
      PO BOx 2753

      • KJP in Portland

That’s the one I saw. Town name is Corvallis, not Corrallis.

Corvallis is about 90 miles from me.

That’s a very kind thing to do, Zana!

        • Eclipse-girl

I apologize for the mistake. Damn
          That is not good.

Editing the first message to make it right

      • Zana

Thank you. Mine is a big package. Do you suppose they will take it at the P.O. Box? I agree… she should not give her home address.

I won’t send it till Mon or Tues… will take it to the Post Office to see if they will deliver to a P.O. address… in the meantime, if you have a brick and mortar address or know where I can find it, please let me know.

Thank you Eclipse-girl! so nice to know you. I love this community.

            • Eclipse-girl

Not that we know of. The due date is mid dec. So it could be any time now.

  • Sherbet

So, what’s going on? Bury et al were “boots on the ground” at the event, and we’re awaiting a report?

    • Bury_The_Nuts

Honestly…..all I saw was FAIL. We spoke to several and they were nice.
We asked a couple who got the medal of valor.
They started naming places…Taiwan, for example.
      WTF?

      • Sherbet

Did you see the banner? If so, how long did it take before you stopped rolling on the ground in hysterics?

        • Bury_The_Nuts

Lol, no. Saw it on the bunker and cracked up.
          God I love those two!

              /derail

Ahhh . . . there you are. I’ve been meaning to say how moved I was with your post about you reuniting with your daughter. I had been surfing around some of the political / economic / sociology internet haunts I frequent and was feeling a bit bleak about the state of humankind . . . your story was just what I needed. Long live the human spirit and the power it can bring to the healing of relationships. Might take a while, but love will win. Cheers, GlibWog.

            • GlibWog

Well Vistaril.. How very sweet of you to find me..

Thank you so much.. Yes.. Love will win. Both of us want it to this time.. and the distance in miles will play a huge part.

It just will.. We both need the miles between us.. and I have all the time in the world ..to do our homework. So thank you Vistaril.. xo Baby..

( I am baby now because there was another Glib.. Glibby.. that had the name for like 10 years.. so out of respect I told her I would be Baby ..because I have had that nickname since 4th grade.. : ]

            • http://www.4chan.org/ Vistaril

Yeah, I too need some (lots of) physical distance between some of my family so that we can remain close. As a typical emotionally constipated male, I find it difficult to “share” so don’t often join in with all the personal chit chat stuff – but I am interested and do keep an eye on things, so I had caught up with your display of respect for the OG. Which reminds me, have you seen this . . . its the day Riff and Glib take over from David Miscavige ; )

Heh heh, you are like Jeb Burton, except with a more prolific vocabulary, better articulation, and more adapted to colder temperatures.
And you also recognize a good cognac if I recall correctly.

            • http://www.4chan.org/ Vistaril

Whoa . . . you do have a good memory. Brandy is my day-to-day tipple (purely medicinal, you understand) but, yes, on special occasions I do break out the Rémy Martin. Thank for salvaging the pertinent bits in my IAS post which appears to have fall foul of the mod(s). You must have been quick to get both the link and one of the pix, the comment was up for less than a minute. Nice work. A nice work in Clamwater, too.

            • Jimmy Threetimes

I was sorry to see it disappear. I went to reply almost immediately and saw that I cannot reply to a comment that is not active. Wtf? There are only two mods here, and neither would have deleted that post. And even if they did it would still show up as deleted. It just fell into a disqus wormhole I guess.

The IAS forming as akin to the signing of the Declaration of Independence gave me a great laugh, though.

            • GlibWog

Jimmy where are you talkin bout ? You said we have 2 mods here.. Who.. ( besides Bury) ha

            • Jimmy Threetimes

Tony and t1kk would both have moderator powers here, although they don’t moderate the way a forum or chat “mod” usually would, instead leaving the community to self-police. Which is a good thing. Bury moderates with charm and wit and I’m not scared of her anymore.

            • GlibWog

Oh that’s right t1kk.. forgot.. of course I knew about Tony, but figured he peeks in when he has time..

Bury.. hahahha.. We have her number.. Plus she’s easy to love.. that helps.

            • GlibWog

Vis.. I don’t know if you know this.. and Bury will smack me next time I see her..

She is MENSA.. The smartest woman I have ever met.. Brains with her Caustic sense of humor.. Whoa baby..

She has to dumb down her words around me..ha

            • GlibWog

Vis.. I am mushy gushy.. around my kids and grandkids and do the hugging, snugging, sharing and nurturing shit..

But.. two times a year for about a week I get my Fix ( sometimes even after 3 days..ha) and can’t wait to come back to my life with hubby, and fur babies..

OMG that is funny..hahahhaha that video is hilarious.. I am sure that is the Glibby that I had a discussion with.. So absolutely now I understand why she was protective of her name..

She has established it way before me.. ( what does respect for the OG mean..) I hope it isn’t a Scn term..hahahha do you mean Other Glib?

Yes.. Bury even says I talk Baby Talk in my sleep.. It’s in my DNA I guess.. ha

            • Robert Eckert

OG = “Old Guard” (the protesters from Before Anonymous)

            • GlibWog

Thank you Robert.. I will add that to my list.. I’m sure I heard it before, but..

When and Where I have no idea.. You are good with the Trivia facts I need to know..

              We make a great team.. ” I’m always asking..You’re always answering ” ha ..

I actually Hearsay questions first… and when I couldn’t find OG ( not thinking it was SCN term.. I was just making a joke) I came here and asked..

            • DeElizabethan

Robert, does that mean when I protested in 1980 and with an anti scio group, tho undercover, meant I was with the OG? (in the GO days). Neat to know about that term. anymore data?

            • Robert Eckert

I’ve just heard it on these boards sometimes, don’t know who came up with it.

These 2 epic FAILS in a row, now have me really wondering…

SuperPowerz only drew about 2,500 and the big, vaunted IAS Gala only drew maybe 900?

I want to see into the future exactly one year from now and see where CoB$ is…

Will the FBI, HSA, IRS pay any attention to how weak these two events were attended, and will they finally see the church itself as being greatly weakened; hence, finally make their moves to raid and appropriate evidence, and finally go after the church.

Will their tax-exempt status finally be revoked?

Could the end of CoB$ be a lot closer than many of us thought?

    • MaxSpaceman

      zAclkly 1 year from now…

      — No, Feds pay no attention to the events; they do nothing.
      — No, their exempt status will not be revoked
      — No, end’s not closer; some of the legal cases alone are on course to play out for 5 years.

      • OrangySky

Exactly. Law enforcement isn’t going to come riding in on its white horse for all the poor souls in Scientology slavery, and those who still have money in their back accounts yet to be siphoned.

        Sadly.

I think the justice system will be their undoing. That, and Miscavige’s constant foot-bulleting that has turned Scientology into the most reviled group short of Al Quaida.

      • KJP in Portland

I think 50% of everyone (publics, SeaOrg) will blow in the next year. In the end, it’s a midget, with maybe 1,000 die-hards and a big wad of cash. In a year, they’ll probably stop the expansion of the Ideal Orgs and just hang with what they have.

Interesting as hell, I want to see where they are a year from now, and how far along (and how expensive) the lawsuits get.

“World’s Fastest Growing Religion”. Sure, for the growth numbers of people worldwide calling bullshit on these liars.

      • Ardent

Sadly, I see the same picture. The nastiness will continue.

    • Jimmy Threetimes

You can bet that the FBI has a thick file on Miscavige and his cohorts. But no, low attendance figures at an event will not lead the US Government to go after Scientology, and rightly so. As much as we can object to it, David Miscavige has positioned Scientology as a minor, tax-exempt religion. The IRS is still recovering from a scandal and taking Scientology down a peg would not even be considered.

Ultimately, Scientology will be taken down by David Miscavige himself, not by any government or outside influence.

      • DamOTclese2

That’s not true, it’s not a “tax exempt religion,” it is a tax exempt charity.

        • Jimmy Threetimes

They still file under 501(c)(3) right? One size fits all.

        • SciWatcher

I thought that in the US it was a tax exempt religion. Wasn’t that what the whole fight was about–to get religious status? And in the UK it is a tax exempt charity?

    • GlibWog

Interesting to think about.. Weakness of events won’t send a red flag up for the agencies that you listed..

Now.. Ricco? Tax Evasion.. Criminal Conduct?

    • OrangySky

“Will the FBI, HSA, IRS pay any attention to how weak these two events
were attended…. and finally go after the church. Will their tax-exempt status finally be revoked?”

Great questions KJP – I still argue that this won’t happen until at least one of the big cases concludes with a significant judgment against the church that will go into the record. The Garcia’s, Mosey’s and Laura’s – in addition, all three will have depositions and other evidence that will go into the record that the Feds can pull to help fatten their cases. I’m sure the shrinking numbers strengthens the Feds’ resolve…if they have any resolve. But they’re not going to go after any religious sect until they know they have a slam-dunk case, and the government isn’t going to pay them to create one from scratch. Not when all the FBI budget money is going into counter-terrorism.

Now, COB makes some sort of side-deal with the Taliban, and it’s all over. But I don’t see that happening.

    • DamOTclese2

Looks like 900 is over-stating it by about 400. If they managed to get 500 people to this thing, I would be surprised.

I’ll bet anything that most of the clams don’t even know who Shelly Miscavige is, except maybe to deduce that she is a member of the Miscavige family. They don’t feel that it’s any of their business to know who DM is married to, or any other personal details about him, like when he was last sec checked (35 years ago)??

I have a problem with dead deer. I admit it. I am not anti-hunting for population control and if you’re going to hunt for population control, I think it’s great that you consume what you kill. I have close cousins who are serious about this – hunters, fishermen, outdoorsman, and strangely, animal lovers and environmentalists. So very odd that those things go together, but they do.

But I have a hard time looking at a murdered animal. Especially since I consider the family of deer who live in my backyard to be almost pets [see below]…they even take naps on my back patio only a few feet from my french doors. I’ve left the back of my yard unlandscaped so they can munch out year round. So I look at them like I look at our family cats & dogs.

So, the photos of dead deer are actually quite disturbing to me.

I do love the photos of live Derek & family, however.

      • GlibWog

That is an honest post Orangy.. xo and above all.. You can’t BS Derek..hahaha

      • http://askanex.wordpress.com/ Derek

        Thanks. I’m having a blast!

    • Ardent

I respect any hunter who actually eats the prey. It is only the jackass trophy-hunters that bother me. Eat well, my friend. That is called responsible gun-ownership. (Or was it a bow?)

    • GlibWog

Damnit Derek.. why do I get tears in my eyes every time I see pictures of you with friends and family and living a life you dreamed about.. ( well.. I won’t go into your parents , siblings etc..)

But so happy you are giving love to those that are giving love back..Woo hoo…

Oh.. I grew up in the deep woods of Oh/ Michigan..Trust me deer is a familiar sight being hauled on top of the roof coming home from a day of hunting..

Yummy your food looks fabulous ..who is the darling young girl in the first photo? Is that a cousin..?

We love you Derek.. You have come so far in such a short time.. Wow.. xoxoox Your Bunker Buddies

      • http://askanex.wordpress.com/ Derek

That’s my cousin! She is awesome. Her mom is the aunt I always stay with when I come to visit.

        • GlibWog

Jeeze.. I love my downvote.. ha..

She is a cutie pie.. Oh ok.. I’m putting it together now.. I know you love your aunt.. What a wonderful woman she must be.. yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn I’m getting ready for bed..

          Keep enjoying life.. <3 Baby

    • ThetaBara

Eek, reload is not my friend. :-( Glad you had fun but I didn’t need to see that. I’m honestly happy you are happy but that kind of shit triggers me and plays on endless loop in my head when I can’t sleep, and/or gives me bad dreams. I do eat meat so maybe I’m being hypocritical, but linking to flickr (so I could have had a choice to view it or not) would have been really appreciated. Not trying to rain on your parade but just letting you know another perspective.
      Poor deer.

      • http://askanex.wordpress.com/ Derek

:/ you’ve never seen a dead animal before? I’m pretty sure I’m younger than you and it takes a bit more than a dead animal to give me nightmares. Could have done without the disingenuous comment. Poor deer indeed.

        • ThetaBara

Derek, you may not always agree with me, but please know I am NOT disingenuous.
We all have our own sensitivities, and most of them come from our various life experiences. I have a lot of empathy/sympathy for you, having read your accounts of sea org life and seen your videos. However I also have a lot of sympathy/empathy for animals, especially wild creatures. Many of them are losing ground to the constant human expansion. Would it hurt you to consider that other people may have other buttons, and might appreciate some consideration for this?
I know you didn’t expect to be taken advantage of the way you were.
That deer probably had no idea anyone was out to kill it with a gun. It’s attuned to natural predators, not weapons that can be used from a distance. Hell, I have a better idea of my risk of being shot on the way to the grocery store than that deer ever did!
It just seems so one-sided, to me. To ME.
No, you don’t owe me anything, but it might not be so bad to try to consider that perhaps your audience here (which consists of kitten rescuer softies like me, as well as people who likely think guns and hunting are awesome) might be more diverse on this question than you think. I’m telling you what’s true for me, and it IS true for me.
Bottom line, I really hate seeing dead animals, especially those killed by hunters. It’s all sport at some level. Your family is not starving. The fact that you all ate it is better than killing it for its head, but, to me, only just.
          Thanks for listening.

          • Jimmy Threetimes

Just one note worth clarifying: deer aren’t attuned to any sort of predator, they are just naturally paranoid and run from anything. My 30 lb. fox terrier chases off families of deer on a consistent basis. One time I waved at a doe and she fled.

I’m not into guns or hunting, but I’m okay with others hunting an animal if they intend to eat all or most of it. I think trophy hunting is for emotionally shallow people.

            • ThetaBara

Agree with you about trophy hunting.
My point is that I don’t want to have to SEE it, because it is emotionally triggering for me. Reading about it (repeatedly) wasn’t so bad but seeing it was viscerally off-putting (unavoidably and unnecessarily so – IMHO). Eating it only mitigates it somewhat because this isn’t something they are doing for survival. Therefor it is still sport.
The same part of my personality that compels me to fight scientology (or rescue kittens) recoils sharply from shit like that, and I would much prefer being given the choice whether to view it or not. I’m just say’n.
The deer do not get a chance to flee when preyed on from a distance with firearms. Do what you want to do but maybe consider that not everyone will rejoice in the carnage. And that the images may be challenging for those of us who feel for animals and especially wildlife. Mr Bara says I have “too much empathy.” Perhaps.
I will say to you what I said to him: I fucking WISH I could turn it off sometimes!

            • GlibWog

Theta I am going to bed..but want you to know..

My mother always told me that if she could change one thing about my twin sister and I..It would be our sensitivity and empathy..

When we were little we would have to go past this very poor ( I mean no running water ..too many kids poor..)

We would cry on the way to school because it was too painful for us to pass by that house.. as teenagers we would go around the block to avoid it..

Twin became a Social worker Abused Children, Foster care and Adoption.. And of course I worked in Mental Health with Addicts..Mentally Ill homeless etc.

Sometimes I have so much pain in my heart for animals it is unbearable.. I start hearing..

” In the Arms of an Angel..” and know that I am going to see that abused Shi Tzu and I have to run out of the room..

So I am writing this just to tell you that you aren’t alone.. love Baby.. Night honey

            • SciWatcher

Yeah, those things stick with you, especially from when you’re a kid. Not quite as extreme, but I remember it to this day, when I was maybe seven or eight, I saw a stray kitten with a bloody eye, like it had been kicked. I cried and cried and for a long time after that just thinking about it made me feel horrible. Animals are worse for me than people even. Well, animals and children. I can’t watch anything where an animal is killed or gets hurt, even when I know it’s fiction. I just can’t think about it.

Good on you for working with the homeless mentally ill! I’m one of the “lucky” ones. Bipolar disorder, but I’ve had lots of support. Every time I walk past a homeless person, I think, “there but for the grace of god…”

            • GlibWog

Yes.. they do stick with you Sci… I will never ever forgive Michael Vick … That was so traumatizing…

and he stated, ” No I didn’t realize that they were hurt during fights.. They were just dogs..
and then he talked how much he loved them..” OMG..

Yes.. you are one of the lucky ones .. Support is so important.. I have a chemical imbalance and take Meds.. and Yep.. there by the Grace of God….” myself..

            • SciWatcher

Oh my god, yeah the Michael Vick thing. Ugh. Still upsets me.

Meds are awesome, haha! That’s one of the things that is really infuriating about Scientology. If I had had meds when I was a child, it would have been much, much easier and a lot less painful.

            • GlibWog

OMG I should have been on Meds too since Childhood.

A Toast and Cheers to MEDS!

            • ThetaBara

“I didn’t realize they were HURT during FIGHTS?!?!” WTF.
There’s no way that’s true. He used to kill the ones he felt weren’t useful!
He should be sentenced to being eaten by dingoes.

            • GlibWog

Theta.. Absolutely sickening.. I went to more than one protest about it..ugh

            • Jimmy Threetimes

There is no such thing as too much empathy. I didn’t upload the photos or “embrace in the carnage” either. I don’t get enjoyment out of photos of dead animals, and some have even made me sick. Derek’s photos were rather tame but I can still understand your point. You shouldn’t have them just thrown in your face on a site you trust.

            • SciWatcher

Again, I completely agree. In fact, the more I think about it, the more pissed off it makes me. I’ll really stir the fire here and say that I hate guns in general because their sole purpose is to kill.

Edit: and never wish away your empathy. Think of the alternative: someone like David Miscavige

            • media_lush

              does this sum it up?

            • Captain Howdy

Do you think anyone would get offended if I upload a photo of Ed Gein’s last victim, who they found in his shed hanging like a deer that had been dressed down (minus her head)?

            • GlibWog

              Howddddddddddddddddddy! Yuck… ugh, ugh…..

            • Captain Howdy

Now you know how Theta and others feel.

            • GlibWog

I just posted a comment under Derek’s comment that was directed to her… I did not like his comment one bit.. and I wrote Poor Deer..

So of course I know how they feel.. I love animals.. I have rescued many.. All I said in my post was that it was a familiar sight where I grew up..

Shit I catch spiders and flys and bees and take them outside..I hate to see any animal harmed.

            • Captain Howdy

I didn’t mean you in particular. And I do the same thing with spiders and bees because they’re good insects. Roaches, flies, mosquitoes and especially bed bugs are on my hit list…as well as most people,,ha, ha just kidding.

            • DodoTheLaser

I killed a few centipedes, but it was a self-defense.

            • Captain Howdy

              Awww, centipedes are cool.

            • DodoTheLaser

Yeah, except when it darts at your naked feet like a maniac on steroids.

            • Captain Howdy

It wanted to give you the ultimate touch assist.

            • DodoTheLaser

No wonder I never cared about the touch assist!

            • tetloj

Gotta watch those 100 fists of fury – I hate that!

            • GlibWog

Well Good.. Cause I was going to call Bury and tell her.. She would whip your ass..

Ohhhh I GOT A HIT LIST MR.

Smooooooooooooooooooooches.. xoxooxoxooxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxo love Baby.. ( ha)

            • Captain Howdy

              Goodnight Glib.. “shakes hand”

            • GlibWog

Shakes Boobs… Night sweetie.. errr .. Bastard.. ha

That was my last smooch to you, but one day when you least expect it.. I will make you giggle…

            • GlibWog

You were to directed this at me in particular..

*** Shakes fists.. *** ” I WILL GET YOU MY PRETTY.. but Not your dog too..” yawn

            • ThetaBara

              Thank you, Howdy.

            • Lurkness

              Psycho! A favorite movie.

            • GlibWog

Yep.. and uhm Silence of the Lambs..

            • Jimmy Threetimes

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is loosely based on Gein as well.

            • GlibWog

              Oh your are right Jimmy..

            • Jimmy Threetimes

Yes I think people would be offended by that. But that’s a human being and not a deer. I love animals too, especially the dogs that I treat like human beings. But hunters gonna hunt. If it makes people queasy it may not belong here, I only commented to get in that my little terrier scares off deer. She was excited that I mentioned her.

            • Captain Howdy

I’ve never for a second believed that the life of any animal, and that includes humans of course, is worth any more or less than any other animal.

            • Jimmy Threetimes

In a hypothetical situation where you can save 2 cows or save 1 human, you save the cows?

            • Captain Howdy

Of course. The cows are much tastier, least that’s what i heard.

            • Jimmy Threetimes

I’m not sure anyone could have answered that any better. It gave me the lols.

            • Captain Howdy

Here’s my hypothetical situation. I’m walking down the street with my (hypothetical) dog that I know and love and some complete stranger kicks my dog as we pass by. Now, If i had a gun on me and I could shoot this POS without any fear of legal ramifications, I wouldn’t hesitate to do so.

            • DodoTheLaser

Sorry for the derail, but it’s equally important and urgent:

            • DodoTheLaser

Dear down voter, instead of eating bacon, feel free to eat pecan.

            • Jimmy Threetimes

That’s a loaded hypothetical. A person who would randomly walk down the street and boot a dog either needs serious help or will never belong in society. So it’s easy to say, hypothetically, that you’d give them a swift execution.

            • GlibWog

Well it only took me 15 minutes to figure out POS meant Piece of Shit.. Damn.. Yawnnnn computer off..

Oh me? Hell yes I would shoot this POS.. my dogs mean everything to me..

But.. I would just shoot his kneecaps off.. and walk away.

            • Captain Howdy

So you’d just cripple him for life? Hey, that’s even better than killing them. I like the way you think. Sweet dreams.

            • marti

Glibwog, Do not look up deam in the urban dictionary.

            • Jimmy Threetimes

Going to sleep. Good chats and good night cap’n.

            • SciWatcher

Depends who the human is :)

            • DodoTheLaser

Yeah, I am responsible for taking life of dozens of rats.
It never brought me joy to be a rat murderer.
And I didn’t even eat them.

But man, few of those mofos were the size of a small beaver!

            • SciWatcher

I had a pet rat once.

            • DodoTheLaser

              It wasn’t me, I swear.

            • SciWatcher

              Heh heh; nope, old age

          • ThetaBara

Thanks for your consideration, Davey Downvoter.

            • GlibWog

Well I got one too Theta.. Sit on the Downer Bench together.. I’ll try not to get my smoke in your eyes.

          • SciWatcher

In complete agreement. Posting that picture was not cool.

          • http://askanex.wordpress.com/ Derek

I like how you took advantage of my post about enjoying my first holiday with my family in 15 years to lecture me on your views about animals…. That’s the disingenuous part I was talking about. Don’t care what you think about hunting to be perfectly honest. At all. I was posting about my holiday. Thanks for not listening?

            • ThetaBara

Thanks for not listening to me, Derek. I’ve shown you a lot of compassion and I was just asking for the same. I said I was glad you enjoyed your holiday, and I have said MANY times that I am glad you are out, that I think you are a good person and that you deserve so much better than what you were handed in your earlier life.
I’d appreciate a little compassion in return. Yes, I have seen dead animals before, and it is always upsetting to me. Seeing them killed for FUN (even if eaten later, it is still SPORT unless you guys are starving which does not seem to me to be the case – and if it was I would also support you stealing from stores, FWIW) makes me really sad. The same compassion and empathy that causes me to rejoice in your escape from the sea org and judgmental parents makes me really cringe at a photo of a slaughtered deer hung upside down on a tree. You posted about this multiple times already and I never made a peep until I had to SEE it. Take some responsibility. I have. Now it’s your turn. I’m your fan but seriously, this shit fucks me up and it isn’t topical for here. FFS, photos of Stacy Moxon electrocuted would be as upsetting and way more topical (and beieve me, I would object to having to see that without a warning too.). I don’t mean to rain on your parade. You deserve all the joy and love. But please, consider other people when posting visceral images like that. I am a big supporter of yours, and I’m sorry you object to my honest feelings, but try to understand that they ARE my HONEST feelings, and just like you, I can be hurt.
              TYVM.

            • ThetaBara

All you would have had to say was “sorry for upsetting you TB” and all of this would have been over yesterday. You want to keep justifying? Well then, I will keep arguing. Because it isn’t really justifiable. Your feelings are not more valid than mine. Nor, mine more valid than yours. But you seem to want to shut me up, and, just so you know, it ain’t gonna happen. Also, it isn’t me downvoting you. Oh hai.

            • SciWatcher

Stop playing the victim here. No one was trying to interfere with your holiday enjoyment, but many of us don’t enjoy looking at dead animals. Your argument that our objections to your post has anything to do with a response about your family reunion holds no weight. One thing has nothing to do with the other. If you don’t want to hear people’s views on animals, don’t post something that will obviously start an argument. Like I said in another post. If you hadn’t posted a PICTURE of it, forcing anyone who scrolls down the page to see it, none of us would have taken issue with it. Well, I might have taken issue with it, but I would have kept it to myself.

            • aquaclara

Late but just wanted to say how great it is that you have had a special Thanksgiving. You earned this terrific time with your family, and I am all smiles here, seeing how much fun you’re having.

Wishing you all the best, Derek!

        • GlibWog

Awww come on now Derek.. Of course I see an animal ..and of course I am going to have empathy for it… Many of us are..

Theta is a kind, caring person who loves animals.. and my heart went out to her when you made this comment..

and yes.. Poor deer.. of course poor deer.

    • http://www.tingleff.org/jensting/muslinger/ Jens TINGLEFF

Glad you had an awesome time.
Hmm. Last time I visited distant family in that part of Texas, shooting was part of what they were up to. I thought it was just Texas, but maybe there’s something even more sinister going on ;)

      • http://askanex.wordpress.com/ Derek

Right? I thought I was posting about enjoying my first thanksgiving holiday with family in 15 years or so…. I guess I was posting about animal activism or something?

        • ThetaBara

This isn’t the place for photos of it. Sorry my feelings of compassion for the slaughtered animal stepped on your toes. I’ve always been supportive of you, Derek. And I’m STILL glad you are with family that loves you. But, why can’t you understand that this shit is triggering for me (and clearly for others here)? It is really unfortunate that you can’t seem to understand that or be flexible about our sensitivities. You’ve posted extensively about this and I never had any objection until you put up a photo of the carcass. That’s great that you’re cool with this stuff, but some of us DO NOT WANT TO SEE IT. We have repeatedly and calmly said so. So, why not just take it down? It would be awesome if you’d post it over on flickr instead so that those who wished could see and those of us who find it upsetting could be spared. This isn’t a hunting blog and the image you posted has nothing whatsoever to do with scientology. It would be nice if you could be a little flexible instead of being so defensive. I had to close my eyes to scroll past it. Your nightmares are made of different things, I know… but this kind of thing is what MINE are made of. I wish you could see that. I wake up at 3am and this shit scrolls through my head on endless repeat. Can you relate to that? Or at least have a little compassion for me? Fine, I’m done with this.

    • SciWatcher

Gotta agree with Theta on this one. I AM a vegetarian, and this
kind of thing makes me sick to see. Like Theta it “triggers” me and plays like a loop in my head. I don’t even like walking down the
meat aisle in the grocery store. I know people hunt, but to flaunt it
like this grosses me out. Like other people said, it’s nice that you’re having fun, but this is not the place for it. And I will say it again. Poor deer.

    • Seannie5

Derek – Very happy you are with family and enjoying life but considering how disgusted and appalled I felt when I saw Melissa Bachman posing gleefully with a murdered lion, it would be disingenuous to not think the same of your cousin (?). I don’t understand what pleasure she would get by holding a dead animal up to show off the camera. I know this isn’t the place to be lecturing anybody about trophy hunting but maybe it also isn’t the place to be posting those pictures?
And yes, I am a vegetarian.

    • Jeb Burton

Nice deer. Im sure the vegans will love it. I have a cousin who comes over to our family barbecues and always tell us the health benefits of not eating meat while were destroying some ribs. Buzzkill. If you dont want to eat meat, fine, but please dont tell me how to eat. Ill throw a carrot on the barbie for you.

  • Lady Squash

Love the “Where’s Shelly” banner. Beautiful!

  • http://www.tingleff.org/jensting/muslinger/ Jens TINGLEFF

I’m sure David “he is NOT insane!” Miscavige appreciated the banner.

    • DeElizabethan

      NOT, right!

  • Ardent

That ‘dauntless, defiant’ crap made me feel like puking. Sorry. Just busy hating Scientology today. All the broken lives, and tortured families…Too much. Off I go. Catch you later.

  • Chadicus

What a mess. Shelly Miscavige agrees. After seeing Chill EB’s video, and the followup “Y’all Busted”, I’d like to point out the sublime lyrical skills of up and coming rapper Lil’ Dickey. He’s got a kickstarter campaign going for his first album. Maybe if we reg him up enough funds for an Ideal First Album, he’ll rework the following song from Damn Good Day to Be a White Dude into Damn Good Day to Be an OT. (NSWF) (WowWowWow) (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I know, I was a fool once too, a cult member, I fell for the BS. But that was long ago,the end of the 70’s and there was no info to be found, no internet etc. The ones joining nowadays have it coming to them.

  • DodoTheLaser

Thank you to Mike & Mike for another EPIC fly by!

Not sure what happened to no electronic devices rule,
but here’s another photo from the inside of Super Power.

I’ve been interested in the artwork since the designs got leaked, especially the stairway/bridge/tonescale/whatever in the middle. Are the upper figures supposed to be OTs or are the statues clear for representing the state of Clear? The symbolism is apparent in the finished product, but only seems to represent gains at the highest level. Then again, knowing DM, thats probably on purpose.

      • SciWatcher

Those statues creep me out. They’re like those bronze statues of children playing that some people put in their yards. They remind me of the statue garden in queen’s courtyard in Chronicles of Narnia. Like kids are trapped inside the statues.

        • DodoTheLaser

Yeah, the place looks like a big ass funeral home.

      • DodoTheLaser

The sets of statues represent each of 8 dynamics, tone scale and other scientology concepts.

  • media_lush

good grief…. has anyone tasted one of these?

    • SciWatcher

Before I refresh…it’s not a picture of a dead animal, is it?

      • marti

no, but not sure if the hand is human.

        • SciWatcher

          :) Thank you

    • media_lush

dammit, it seems to be banned in the UK which makes me really want to buy a packet!

  • DodoTheLaser

For only $1663.75 learn how to confront and shatter Suppression!
(Disclaimer: this gift to mankind doesn’t work in the presence of the Internet).

  • media_lush

…. oh the lulz, …. I just had some Jehova’s witnesses knock on my door {a very quiet knock}… a very well dressed black couple…. I was extremely nice to them and listened to their spiel and took their leaflet before saying that I was an atheist (actually I’m a secular humanist kind of guy… but hey, why split hairs)…. interesting cover…. big thing on bringing you back from death

    • Graham

Next time ask them why the world didn’t end in 1975. In the ’70s they came round regularly trying to get us signed up before the Big Day. Never happened. Yet instead of crawling into a hole and dying of shame the whole circus just carries on. Shameless.

That’s one of the things that makes me believe that $camatology will always be with us in some form or another. Impossible to get rid of- like dog shit on the shoe.

      • media_lush

        they turn up every 6 months or so…. the last ones were Japanese; they seem to be a now and again favourite for TV hospital dramas where “the dying kid needs a blood transfusion but the parents won’t allow it cuz of their faith bollocks”…. just saw the latest version on the new series ‘Monday Mornings’…. yeah, Ving Rhames is a surgeon in it that had a similar storyline in it {he did it anyway when the parents weren’t looking and let them believe it was god’s work but the kid knew blah, bah etc etc}

      • Robert Eckert

They are the continuation of a sect whose original end-of-the-world date was 1846.

Here in Ohio a no trespassing sign will keep the JWs away from your door.

    • Eivol Ekdal

I got that yesterday! You should have seen my scowel, how dare they pull me away from the bunker to answer the door!

  • DodoTheLaser

While SPs are asleep, RTC is smiling and winning!

    • Graham

I think Poe’s Law is at work here. It’s impossible to tell whether you added those words as a piss-take or whether that’s genuine $camatology speak. If I had to bet I honestly wouldn’t know which of those two options to bet on.

      • DodoTheLaser

It’s probably the actual excerpt. I’ve seen/heard plenty of similar BS before at the events.

    • tetloj

Nice bit of word salad there

      • DodoTheLaser

        How dare you?!!!

        • tetloj

absolute practicality is a bit of a fence sitter

    • marti

That’s an impressing bell hop uniform DM is wearing.

      • ThetaBara

The bowtie is all wrong with the Damnation Navy uniform.
Doesn’t matter. They can keep the Damnation Navy. We have teh Flying Squirrels (aka the Apostolic Air Force)!!!

  • DodoTheLaser

    Winning!!!

    • media_lush

In certain respects I ‘spose he is…..

      • DodoTheLaser

        The horse?

        • media_lush

this is what happens when you reply to just the text not knowing there’s a picture there…. kinda funny in a surreal way

          • tetloj

Right! I was looking sideways thinking where did Dodo go from that to Horse? (I’m dying here….)

          • DodoTheLaser

            It sure is! Laughing….)

            • tetloj

I know Charlie Sheen is a goer but really!

Na na, Oh la la, watch out for romance!

Mr Hubbard – step away from the children

    • ThetaBara

You are brilliant – and if you haven’t yet got a flickr, why not? ;-)

    • ThetaBara

Also, can anyone name the kids in this pic? Pretty sure one is Quentin and one is Diana…

      • HolyCash

L to R, Arthur, Diane, Suzette, Quentin

      • Eclipse-girl

If the children are Ron’s, (from left to right)
Quentin , Diana, Ron, (Mary) Suzette, Arthur

he he – looks like people are still ignoring the no photography signs.

Go gittem OSA – shut them down.

    • DodoTheLaser

      Hahaaha! Nice!

    • media_lush

Jive Ace twats were there!…. fair enough, they’re known scions (wonder how their bookings were when they were outed)…. but not sure about the bagpipes though…. and FTR I’ve never seen a female bagpipe player in the UK….. anybody know what tune they were playing?

  • media_lush

as we haven’t got the automatic 12pm (UK time) post from Tony I anticipate some good stuff from last night coming up….

    • ThetaBara

Noon? You lucky dog. I get 4am here in Cali! Although it does work ok with the insomnia…

      • SopranoAscends

I was up that late/early in PDT, too. One kid here forgot he needed help before submitting his UC appls m due TODAY, before he left on a little road trip. Checked here before crashing. Awake again, and rebooting. Kid left coffee on timer. G’boy.

        • ThetaBara

One of the benefits of the insane comment volume here is that there is always something to read! Good luck with kid’s college applications. :-)

          • SopranoAscends

Heh! Of course, the Bunker has a purpose to provide important information on a primary issue important to all of us, in one way or another. But the community is broader than that, and I find the meanderings to be great fun.

  • Quaoar

As I posted on OCMB, there are photos of the aircraft and banner that appear to be flying very high with the banner text unreadable. Is this an artifact of the camera lens? A wide angle lens will do this, and some cell phone cameras also.

  • Chee Chalker

That banner is DAUNTLESS DEFIANT and RESOLUTE! I wish they had done that the first day in addition to the helicopter.

Two of my favorite things in one video……foreign white kids rapping/break dancing and balding, middle aged white men rapping/break dancing. Thank goodness the Co$ is joining forces with the Nation of Islam. They need to up their cool and we all know, thanks to COB, that we only get “cool” from our African American friends. Cringe.

Check out this you tube video RSA- Animate Smile or Die. Barbara Ehrenreich take on the tyranny of delusional thinking. Really well done.
